Community Organizer Can't Bitch When A Community Organizes

ShareThis

Everyone knows that President Obama has a background as a "community organizer".  If you've been paying attention the healthcare debate, you've probably noticed that the White House has been complaining about the backlash they have received in their attempts to put the government in charge of our healthcare (this is what would happen if the "trojan horse" public option were passed).  They have said we are funded by special interests, lobbyists, insurance companies, and probably Satan.  This could not be further from the truth.

Mr. Obama prides himself on his work as a community organizer, but he holds in contempt those who would organize a community ideologically opposed to him.

He opposes our "community organizing" because we are shining a bright light on the disgusting and dangerous bill that is circulating through the fetid bowels of Congress.  The more people learn about this bill, the more they oppose it.

Not only are the White House's lies pathetic, they are classless.  Every time someone protested President Bush's policies, Mr. Bush would acknowledge and respect their right to do so.  Mr. Obama feels the need to make up stories to try and discredit us.  President Obama has shown himself to have very little class, aside from his taste for Wagyu beef and arugula.  He has used the Special Olympics as a comedic foil.  He has injected himself into a racial debate while taking the side of a racialist hack.  For 20 years he sat in a church while listening to hate-filled vomit from an evil man.  Now, he's hit a new low by ridiculing and showing contempt for people who dare to express an opinion contrary to his.  This man is not presidential.  He is a thug in the simplest of terms.

This strategy will backfire on the White House and Democrats.  Millions of people are involved in the Tea Parties and many millions more don't agree with Mr. Obama's healthcare proposals.  Each time these people are spoken about with contempt, their spines will stiffen and they will fight harder.  I myself feed off of the lies they are spreading about our efforts.  I've received emails and Youtube messages from people who wish me death.  I invite these responses and I wear them as a badge of honor. It only gives me more resolve and makes me believe more in our cause.  I encourage President Obama to continue to insult us peons for organizing around a central principle.  He will only continue to reveal himself to be a classless and unpresidential thug.  Quite frankly, I think he's already shown this to America.

Republicans Aren't Just Criticizing, They've Got A Better Bill

ShareThis

Senators Coburn and Burr and Representatives Ryan and Nunes have offered a health care bill that will do much more to lower prices than the Democrat government takeover bill.

Here's the full text of the bill.

Here's a comprehensive summary of the bill.

Here's a brief summary of the bill.

Use the "George Constanza" philosophy and do the exact opposite of what your elected officials are doing and read these bills, or at least the summaries.  Then you can take informed action.

If you hear an Obamacare advocate say that Republicans are only criticizing the Obamacare bill, direct them to this legislation.  It  won't shut them up (remember, they are liberals), but reasonable people will take notice and sympathize with your cause more because you can cite provisions in both bills.  The Republican bill is much more palatable to reasonable people.  The Democrats need the media to pretend that the Republicans haven't offered anything worthwhile.  If elected officials holding town halls are confronted with this bill (say, if you print it out and smack it down on the stage in front of them and get it on tape), that will open an entire new door for our greivances, because it kills the false argument they are trying to make.

So be a responsible citizen and read the bill!

We Needed A Government Study To Tell Us This?

ShareThis

From The Washington Times:

Despite President Obama's prediction that it would create new jobs, the climate change bill passed by the House will mean fewer jobs by 2030 than if Congress did nothing at all, according to the first comprehensive study of the measure by the federal government.

The report by the Energy Department's Energy Information Administration said the bill would lead to small increases in electricity costs for consumers -- what Democrats said was an affordable sacrifice for the environmental benefits of lowering greenhouse gas emissions.

"We can move to a clean energy future at a cost of less than a postage stamp per family per day," Energy Secretary Steven Chu said.

The report said the average cost to a household by 2020 would be $114, though those costs would more than double to $288 by 2030 as the rules on polluters tighten.

The Democrat-controlled House narrowly passed its climate change bill on a 219-212 vote June 26. A week later, Mr. Obama told chief executives that the legislation "holds the promise of millions of new jobs -- jobs, by the way, that can't be outsourced."

Mr. Chu repeated the assertion Tuesday.

But a chart in the EIA report showed the employment rate -- just like the economy as a whole -- worsening for the first several years, improving slightly in the midterm, peaking in 2024 and then declining steadily. It showed 0.25 percent fewer jobs in 2030 under the Democrats' bill, with the manufacturing sector suffering a 2.5 percent lag.

For the economy as a whole, immediate energy price spikes would be followed by relative calm as the economy adjusted. But when stricter rules go into effect in 2025 "the rapid increase in energy prices causes the economy to contract," EIA said.

If you didn't laugh when the Democrats said this bill would create jobs, you are in need of some remedial economics classes.

Hopefully this bill dies in the Senate.

There's Nothing Astroturfed About This

Is This America, Or Iran?

The White House is asking for informants to forward them any "disinformation" (translation: actual provisions in the Obamacare bill) that they come across:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care.  These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.  Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

This is absolutely shocking in so many ways.  The White House is literally recruiting informants to snitch on people who are disseminating facts that were gleaned from the bill that is circulating the House of Representatives.  This is eerily familiar.  Remember the Iranian election protests?  This is exactly what the Mullahs were doing.  I'm not going to pretend that the Obama Administration is going to be mass murdering citizens in the street, but the tactic is at the very least fascistic.

People opposed to Obama's agenda are a few small steps away from having to refer to themselves as "dissidents".

Here's the email that I sent to flag@whitehouse.gov :

Dear Mullah Obama:

I wanted to alert you to my website, www.panzramic.com.  I've been disseminating a lot of what you would call "fishy" information (actual provisions in the bill) about your health insurance plan.  I don't mean to incriminate myself, but I figured it is my duty as an American to alert you about anyone who opposes your fascistic power grabs.

Yours in hope and change,
Andrew Monaghan

Please send the White House an email and let them know about all of the disinformation that I'm spreading all over the internet!

What Are You, Chicken? Obama Won't Release Cash For Clunkers Data

ShareThis

From Yahoo News:

The Obama administration is refusing to release government records on its "cash-for-clunkers" rebate program that would substantiate — or undercut — White House claims of the program's success, even as the president presses the Senate for a quick vote for $2 billion to boost car sales.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said Sunday the government would release electronic records about the program, and President Barack Obama has pledged greater transparency for his administration. But the Transportation Department, which has collected details about 157,000 rebate requests, won't release sales data that dealers provided showing how much U.S. car manufacturers are benefiting from the $1 billion initially pumped into the program.

Remember the Mortal Kombat video game?  If you do, you might also recall the little bar that each character had that represented how much "life" each character had left in the fight:

The administration has already suffered many body blows to their agenda in the past month.  Their agenda's "life" bar drops more and more each day.  The "cash for clunkers" data might prove to be a "fatality" for the Obama administration.  Then again, maybe it won't.  Release the data and we can find out.

Howard Kurtz: Time For Plan B?

ShareThis

From Mr. Kurtz's latest column (and an echo of what I've said on this website):

Not having a specific plan has left Obama in the awkward position of lobbying for something that doesn't exist.

The Democrats are their own worst enemy in this situation.  They were in the biggest of hurries to pass a bill that they never read or understood.  People called them out on it, and it has left them in a defensive position.  Conservatives and center right people (and even some moderate Democrats) are on the attack.  The White House and Congress are essentially crouched behind a bunch of sandbags, dodging bullets.  The problem is, they are fighting a war whose only pretense is government control of healthcare shrouded in "compassion".

The road is only going to get more difficult for them, because we're going to be planting populist IEDs to stop them.

What A Short, Bad Trip It's Been For Liberals

ShareThis

Politico has the details:

In Morrisville, Pa., Rep. Patrick Murphy was forced to scrap plans for a one-on-one meet-the-congressman session when people in the crowd started shouting. Murphy switched to a town hall format mid-event and even then had to ask the audience at times to “be respectful.”

And at a health care event in Philadelphia, Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius were repeatedly interrupted by booing and heckling. “We can shout at one another, or we can leave the stage,” Sebelius said at one point. “It’s up to you.”

You know the best part about the Patrick Murphy town hall?  The Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots weren't even there as far as I know.  Maybe it was the big, bad insurance lobbyists?

My guess is that it was regular, working class people who just happened to be informed about the provisions of the President's bill.  They are at least more familiar with the bill than most Democrats!

Barack Buffal-Obama

I think there is alot of comedic value in speaking like Silence of the Lambs' "Buffalo Bill".  Combine that with another hilarious comedic character like Barack Obama, and you've got gold!  Enjoy...

Barack Buffal-Obama: It pays the taxes on its check. It does this whenever it is told.

American Taxpayer: Mister... my family will pay cash. Whatever tax rate you're askin' for, they pay it.

Barack Buffal-Obama: It pays the taxes on its check or else it gets audited again. [to his dog, Bo]

Barack Buffal-Obama: Yes, it will, Bo, won't it? It will get the IRS!

American Taxpayer: Okay... okay... okay. Mister, if you let me go, I won't - I won't vote Republican, I promise. See, my mom is a real important woman... I guess you already know that.

Barack Buffal-Obama: Now it places the taxes in the basket.

American Taxpayer: Please! Please I wanna have freedom! I wanna have freedom please!

Barack Buffal-Obama: It places the taxes in the basket.

American Taxpayer: I wanna start a small business! Please I wanna start a...

Barack Buffal-Obama: Put the effing taxes in the basket!

Another great quote for Buffal-Obama:

"Oh wait, was she a great big taxpayer?"

Obamacare Groups Have Spent 2x More Than Their Opponents, And They Are Still Losing The Message War

ShareThis

US News and World Report:

It's going to be a long, hot summer for Members of Congress who are headed home to face constituents angry about healthcare reform.

Advocacy groups are engaged in an unprecedented level of spending in an effort to influence the vote, which is now expected to occur no earlier than September. There are big bucks in play, and no wonder: the U.S. healthcare system represents about 17 percent of the annual GDP. There's a lot at stake because, and the cliché is unavoidable here, healthcare is a life or death issue.

Through mid-July, according to the Campaign Media and Analysis Group, almost $10 million has been spent on ads in support of the White House's position on healthcare reform, double what the opponents of nationalized healthcare have spent. On top of that is the nearly $20 million spent by groups to stake out one position or another on the issue. And that's all before the August recess.

I think the main issue here is that we don't need to pay people to show up at events.  This is grassroots.  We come because we care.  We are functioning on a much more efficient level.  Just like big government programs, these big astroturfing programs from ACORN and SEIU are totally inefficient.  It seems that there is a direct correlation with the level of bureaucracy and the level of efficiency.

Obama and Barney Frank Admit That Public Option Is A Trojan Horse For Single Payer Healthcare

ShareThis

Hat Tip To Michelle "Our Belle" Malkin.

I'm politically sophisticated enough to have known this already.  There are alot of people out there who are not.  They need to see this video.

In a totally unsurprising development, two Obama officials won't rule out taxing the middle class.  You know, those people who make less than $250,000 a year...or was it $200,000...or was it $150,000...$100,000...

It probably won't be long until I jump from middle class to rich in the eyes of the Obama Administration, and just imagine, I'll be doing it without an increase in my salary!  What a great country!

ACORN Exploits Handicapped Amputees At Health Care Town Hall

Philly Obamacare Townhall

Today was great.  Close to 1,000 people showed up for Arlen Specter and Kathleen Sebilius' Obamacare Town Hall.  ACORN and SEIU had their drones there.  ACORN continues to embarass itself by exploiting amputees and handicapped people to further their cause.  It was actually very sad to see because you felt bad for them because of their misfortune and you also felt bad for them because they were totally unaware that they were merely props for ACORN to exploit.

Sebilius and Specter offered no answers.  How can you sell a product when you don't even know what it is?  Sebelius defended herself by saying that she wasn't a "member of congress".  Last I checked she was head of Health and Human Services, she might want to bone up on the legislation.

We learned nothing new from these two people, aside from Arlen Specter coming out in support of a single payer insurance program funded by taxpayers.  Mr. Specter is increasingly desperate.  Pat Toomey has pulled even with him in the polls, and Mr. Specter is trying to gain the support of the far left by supporting single payer healthcare.  He also had a Biden-esque gaffe when he expressed support for passing this as quickly as possible.  The crowd exploded.  I took video and took pictures of the event.  Enjoy.  Contact me via email if you want to get involved:  panzramic@gmail.com

The Tea Party Effect: Raucus Town Halls

From Politico:

Screaming constituents, protesters dragged out by the cops, congressmen fearful for their safety — welcome to the new town-hall-style meeting, the once-staid forum that is rapidly turning into a house of horrors for members of Congress.

On the eve of the August recess, members are reporting meetings that have gone terribly awry, marked by angry, sign-carrying mobs and disruptive behavior. In at least one case, a congressman has stopped holding town hall events because the situation has spiraled so far out of control

A Question For The Statists: Whatever Happened To The Right To Privacy?

ShareThis

I'm no constitutional scholar, but I can't help but think about the "right to privacy" that so many abortion advocates invoke to defend a woman's right to have an abortion.

For argument's sake, I'll accept their premise.  I'd like to take this logic and apply it to health care.

If I understand their argument correctly, the government doesn't have the right to invade a woman's privacy if she considers an abortion.  What gives the government the right to exert it's power in my healthcare decisions?  Do I need to get pregnant in order to obtain this right?

Can someone clear this up for me?  I'm just a villain that works in the insurance industry, but I've got a bone to pick with any statist who wants to influence any of the care that I receive from my doctor.

I'm a Villain According To Nancy Pelosi

ShareThis

Madame Botox has spoken, and I'm a villain.

When I first took my job at an insurance company right out of college, I was unaware that the speaker of the "greatest deliberative body in the world" would eventually call me a villain.  What a cruel world...

It makes sense, I suppose.  My father sells health insurance, and he's a really bad guy.  You know, he put me and my sisters through school and gave us a great life by selling people a promise!  He was peddling the promise that if one of his clients fell ill, their healthcare would be covered based upon the provisions of the policy they purchased.  How dare he?  I should have known he was a villain when he'd come home each night exhausted in a wrinkled oxford shirt and tie (you know, the modern day version of the black trenchcoat and evil mustache!).

Congressional officials say the government plans to suspend the popular "cash for clunkers" program amid concerns it could quickly use up the $1 billion in rebates for new car purchases.

Read the rest here.

What goes unmentioned in this story is the fact that Americans are responding to economic incentives.  In the liberal mind, the concept of economic incentives is ignored.  Case in point:  the country's jobless rate is abysmal.  The Obama Administration professes to have the desire to create jobs.  How do they propose they create jobs?  By taxing businesses!  Seem backwards to you?  Well, it is!

This is a simple lesson for people.  To create jobs, businesses need money.  The best way to make sure businesses have money in a tough economic time is to reduce their expenses.  When their expenses are reduced (say, via the tax code), they will have more money to give to prospective employees.  I know it seems too simple to work, but it isn't.

I look forward to the next Obama Administration Laugh of the Week.
