Focus on Giving
Your gift to UC San Diego has the power to transform individual lives and benefit whole communities. Private support to the university creates scholarships and fellowships, expands academic programs, funds groundbreaking research, supports faculty recruitment and retention, enhances patient care, constructs new buildings and provides a pool of flexible funds to help UC San Diego meet its highest priority needs. As shown below, with the support of generous alumni, parents, faculty and staff, students and friends, UC San Diego can continue to deliver the local impact, national influence and global reach of the region’s leading research university.
