We were in a restaurant over the weekend for Mother’s Day, and it was loud in there! But the people running the restaurants want it that way; one reason is that the louder the music blares, or the flat-screen TVs play, the more you … DRINK!

Ash isn’t the most beautiful of Downtown’s streets. It has the feel of the San Diego of the 1970’s. But every May Ash becomes one of Downtown’s prettiest streets thanks to these blooming trees. The purple leaves are so bright they almost hurt your eyes. But I have no idea what kind of tree this is. If you know, please enlighten me.
