About Us - Thurgood Marshall College

Marshall College Faculty

TMC has roughly 160 affiliated campus faculty from every discipline of study as part of our college identity. Many of these professors serve as faculty mentors for TMC Mentor Program for Transfer Students. They also teach in our Dimension of Culture core writing program, as well as developing topics and teaching in our Honors Seminars. Marshall Faculty serve on our college’s Executive Committee, Curriculum Committee and the Preuss Charter School Board of Advisors. In additional, Marshall Faculty lead key academic programs based at TMC such as our Public Service Minor and Third World Studies.

"Professor Shragge, I took your class last quarter (History of the American Suburb) and I loved it. I couldn't wait to take you again this quarter. You have an amazing way of incorporating so many different modes of information and teaching and you are so helpful to your students. I recommend you to everyone!"
