Other Students - Eligibility

International students currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university other than a UC school, must apply as International Students

Lifetime Learners are all people not currently enrolled at UCSD or another UC school who have either graduated from high school or are 18 years or older and have the maturity and aptitude for college-level work.  UCSD Alumni are considered lifetime learners.

In addition, students that are in progress or have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at a campus outside of the University of California system are considered Lifetime Learners.

Students dismissed from any college should check with their academic advisor at their home school to ensure their work at UCSD will be accepted towards their degree program.

If you fall into any of the above categories, you may apply to take classes at UCSD during Summer Session. Please visit the Registration link for more information on how to apply.

Please note that attending Summer Session does not entitle you to enroll during the regular academic term.
