Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Dropbox was founded in 2007 by Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi, two MIT students tired of emailing files to themselves to work from more than one computer.
Today, more than 50 million people across every continent use Dropbox to always have their stuff at hand, share with family and friends, and work on team projects. We're looking for more great people to join us, so if you're excited to help simplify life for millions of people, check out our jobs.
Drew Houston
Founder/CEO
Drew graduated from MIT and wrote the first lines of code for Dropbox while at a train station in Boston. These days he's usually out and about running Dropbox's business affairs, but he still contributes a lot to Dropbox's client software. In the little free time he has, Drew can be found jamming on his guitar.
Arash Ferdowsi
Founder/CTO
Arash took a break from MIT to work on Dropbox. He has his hand involved in every aspect of the product, but spends most of his time making sure Dropbox and its servers run as fast as possible. He's a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, DDR, and power ballads.
Rian Hunter
Engineer
Rian joined Dropbox fresh out of MIT and couldn't be happier. In his spare time he gets annoyed when people complain about the difficulty of writing witty blurbs about themselves. Just don't overthink it and be yourself. His favorite video game is Yoshi's Island.
Jon Ying
Designer
Jon, a native Kansan, graduated from UC San Diego and currently does design work for Dropbox. In addition to his work on the web, Jon also draws the pictures you see on the site. In his free time, he likes writing music, playing DDR and cooking.

Albert graduated from MIT and currently does analytics for Dropbox. In his free time, he likes going to Shalimar, a restaurant near the Dropbox office. He's also a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bulls, and Bears.
Trevor Berg
Engineer

Kevin M.
Engineer
Kevin, deciding to follow the trend, also got a CS degree from MIT. When not helping work on the Dropbox servers, he likes to pretend that he knows about photography and guitar by carrying around the respective equipment.
Kevin Chu
Support Engineer
On a good day Kevin can spell MIT, but he graduated from UC Davis. His main claim to fame is being copy and pasted into the Special Edition of Star Wars. When not busy helping people, he plays drums and ice hockey, but not at the same time.
David Euresti
Engineer
I am the very shmodel of a modern major Dropboxer,
I've engineered solutions like the desktop photo uploader.
I know the Zen of Python and I hack the code Guidonical,
From asyncore to UserDict with objects polymorphical.

Young Daniel
Engineer
World's finest talking redwood tree.
Colin Corbett
Net Engineer
Colin is networking and operations. He comes to Dropbox from Google where he set up network and datacenters for YouTube. Prior to that, it was eBay and PayPal. When not working at the datacenter, Colin can be found cheering on the Sharks.
Brian Smith
Engineer
Brian graduated from the University of Illinois and works on the iPhone and iPad versions of Dropbox. He should not be confused with the celebrity photographer, linebacker, or jazz saxophonist.
Graham Abbott
Support Engineer
This is Graham. Graham works on the support team. When he's not working he's usually thinking up fun projects that he doesn't have time for.
Cailen D'sa
Sales
Sales Ninja
Ivan Kirigin
Product Manager
Ivan is probably ready for the zombie apocalypse.
Max Bélanger

He enjoys long walks on the beach, provided there's some measure of programming involved. He also loves Canadian indie rock bands (The New Pornographers) and Indian food. When he grows up, he wants to be lumberjack. Because they're cool.
Jen Beatty
Recruiter
Jen graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in history. When she's not coding in Python, she enjoys traveling, cooking, entertaining, and daydreaming of becoming Indiana Jones.
Nikrad Mahdi
Support Engineer
Nikrad graduated from Oberlin College and works on the support team. When he's not at Dropbox, he's usually exploring San Francisco's streets on his bike or listening to Radiolab.

Engineer
Steve joins the ranks of MIT graduates at Dropbox. When he isn't programming for the Growth/Analytics team, Steve spends his time worker rushing in the StarCraft II bronze league.
Greg Kurtz

Files synced like fields in bloom
Love grows for Dropbox

Sujay Jaswa
Biz Dev
Sujay Jaswa worked at a VC firm for a long time before growing jealous of the people at Dropbox. If you can't beat them, join them. Am I right? He spends his free time daydreaming about MIT.

Brandi Cheek
Executive Asst.
WHO DAT‽

Alex is a UC Berkeley grad now working on the Android app. When not hacking, he can usually be found climbing, watching a hockey game, or exploring San Francisco.
Gautam J.
Engineer
Gautam is an MIT grad who has moved across the country three times in the past eight years. He hopes Dropbox will develop teleportation to make moves like this easier.
Ben Darnell
Engineer
Ben joins Dropbox from Google, Facebook, and AOL. When he's not coding, he enjoys food and travel.
Lars Fjeldsoe-N.
Biz Dev
According to our spies, Lars is the result of a lab accident at MIT. The explosion resulted in a genetic soup consisting of Danish, Portuguese, and Viking DNA that, when fully gestated, became our mobile business development evangelist.
Sander Lewis
Support Engineer
Sander is a native Californian and UCLA graduate. He speaks a bunch of languages and likes to test other people who claim fluency too. When he's not at the office, he's probably in some random foreign country.
Sean Byrne
Support Engineer
C.S. + kayaking + The Daily Show + Coca Cola = Sean
Alison Davis
Recruiter
Alison graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Economics. When she's not recruiting new Dropboxers, she enjoys running, exploring the many restaurants of San Francisco, and cheering on the Cal Bears.
Tony Grue

Engineer
When he's not hacking away on the Dropbox client, Jie enjoys playing ultimate, ping pong, and basketball. His greatest fear is earthquakes.
Ramsey H.
Legal
Ramsey (the first Rutgers grad at Dropbox?) abandoned engineering on the east coast for law on the west coast. He previously worked at a law firm and Jeff's little search company. In his spare time he is developing an application that stores great food in his Dropbox so that he can sync it across his life and access it from anywhere.
David Stein
Engineer
David (MIT. yada, yada...) started at Dropbox. He came to Dropbox before turning in his Master's thesis. Take that, Chris!
Kannan G.
Engineer

Zviad Metreveli
Engineer
Zviad came to the US from the faraway land of Georgia (the country, not the state) to study at MIT. "After finishing Master's degree, I joined Dropbox to fulfill dream of working for technology start-up in big country of America," wrote Zviad. "My next goal is to one day be able to correctly use articles while writing text in English."

Sean Li
Support Engineer
Sean came from Rutgers to Dropbox with a brief stay at Verizon in between. In his free time, he enjoys fencing (foil and épée), science-fiction, and designing video games. If Dropbox ever has an office in London, New Zealand, or on the moon, he'd be delighted to go.

Finance
Bobby loves food like Bubba Gump loves shrimp. Beyond gastronomy, she also enjoys other things like cooking, baking, and taking pictures of food.

Makinde A.
Engineer
After a successful career at MIT, Makinde was drafted in the second round by Facebook in 2007. Four years later, Dropbox signed him as a free agent. He plays with the big three on the web team.
Armando Mann
Sales
Armando is obsessed with finding technology that small business owners love. After running his own small business for many years, he joined Google to help launch a bunch of products for local businesses. When he is not imagining every company using Dropbox for Teams, he can be found hanging out at local parks with his wife and daughter.
Adam Taylor
Support Engineer
Adam comes from good old New Jersey and Rutgers University. After attending Johnson and Wales for Culinary arts, he took an interest in Information Technology at Rutgers. His hobbies include cooking amazing meals (like mac and cheese) and rolling n00bs in Halo, but his heart will always belong to the slopes and finding the freshest powder available.
Tina Wen
Engineer
Before starting her adventure at Dropbox, Tina developed new features for Mac Office at Microsoft, where she worked for two years after graduating from MIT. She loves baking, playing ultimate frisbee, Zumba, and Dance Central on Kinect!

Mitra L.
Biz Dev
Mitra went to MIT, though she never was an RA there. She loves puns, tape dispensers, and the serial comma.
Ilya Fushman
Biz Dev
Ilya built quantum computers at Stanford and Caltech, spent some time making the world's most efficient solar cell, and took a turn in venture capital, but he always knew cloud storage and sync were the obvious next step. Now he's working on getting more people into Dropbox and more Dropbox into people's lives.
Allison Louie
Recruiter
Allison hails from Sacramento and is a graduate of UC Berkeley. Beyond recruiting, she enjoys cheering for the Niners, befriending other people's dogs, and inserting Jack Handey quotes into her everyday conversations.
Rich Chan
Engineer
Rich is (yet another) Masters grad from MIT. Staying true to his Hong Kong roots, there is a good chance he can be found waiting in line for pastry at the Golden Gate Bakery.
Rajeev Nayak
Engineer
Rajeev has spent his entire life making sure he would fit in at Dropbox. He went to MIT, worked at Google, and learned how to play ping-pong, basketball, and even Starcraft. Now that he's actually here, he has no idea what to do with himself anymore.
Tony Huie
Biz Dev
After tours in consulting and VC, Tony finally saw the light and joined Dropbox. Tony likes traveling, cooking, and basketball.

Sales
Greg is competing with Kyle for the title of tallest person on team sales, but there's no contest when the battle is brought to the basketball court.
Naveen Agrawal
Sales
Naveen joins us after turning down a career as a professional bocce ball player. He studied at Stanford, where he first learned the lost art of wordsmithing. He's excited to sell the hell out of Dropbox.

IT Engineer
Seth is another representative from the great state of Montana. He is tasked with saving the day one IT issue at a time. When not wearing his IT hat, he enjoys camping, snowboarding, and pretty much anything outdoors.
Aseem Sood
Product Manager
Aseem was well on his way to become a professional bum when he came across Dropbox. They gave him a nice home and promised unlimited ping pong games. It was a match made in heaven. Also, they said they have free food.
Donald James
Recruiter
Donald comes to Dropbox by way of Zynga. Prior to that, he cut his technical recruiting teeth having worked for various contingency-based staffing agencies in the Los Angeles area. When he's not focused on sourcing passive Engineering candidates, he loves to play basketball, snowboard, watch MMA, and make beats in FL Studio. He's a big fan of self-deprecating humor, and runs on Dunkaroos, Sour Patch Kids, and Gatorade.
Pierpaolo B.
Engineer
Pier got his PhD from Milan, Italy before moving to Stanford. Some people say he has an accent. Before Dropbox, he played hard (and sometimes worked) at OnLive helping to make it possible to play video games over the Internet. He likes watching movies, hiking (sometimes) and having dinner with friends (a lot).
Ramesh B.
Engineer
Ramesh helps bolster the meager ranks of gray-haired individuals at Dropbox. Bucking the trend in prescient fashion, he attended school on the true "right" (i.e. correct) coast before joining the rest of his class at Google where he tinkered around with Maps for a very long time. When not playing some form of sport, he can be found with a furrow on his forehead and a far-off look in his eyes - ostensibly thinking deep thoughts.
Kyle Consalus
Engineer
Kyle hails from the glorious Midwest, but finds the Bay Area to be a suitable substitute for now. He likes eating, hates sleeping, and loves bipedal locomotion. When he's not working, he likes to spend his time trying to get away with doing things that look remarkably like working.
Anna Liu
Account Manager
Originally from Michigan, Anna graduated from Harvard and worked at Google before making her way to Dropbox. Now she spends her free time playing ultimate frisbee, dancing, and taking photos.
Pamela Chang
Recruiter
Pamela loves nicknames (i.e. pamcakes, pameranian, pamzilla, etc.). She graduated from UCSD and is addicted to food, travel, soy chai lattes, yoga, and almost any outdoor activity. Her goal in life is to travel around the world and to one day meet Andrew Zimmern.
Brad Silicani
Finance
This is Brad. Brad didn't graduate from MIT, opting instead for the 11-time football champion USC Trojans (That's right, 11). Don't be fooled though, he's still a nerd. He has a Masters in Accounting, and when he's not spending time watching Giants baseball, he can be found crunching the numbers for Dropbox.
Molly Strong
Office Team
Molly, no stranger to startups, invested a small fortune in a tortilla chip factory charmingly named "Guacamolly's Chip Emporium". Three weeks later, she joined Dropbox and has been happy ever since.
Rusty Pierce
Office Team
A Colorado transplant, Rusty is one of the few people who snuck into Dropbox with a liberal arts degree. As a former camp counselor, spa manager, outdoor gear salesperson, and teacher, it only seemed natural to finally break into the tech industry.
Sam Taylor
Sales
Sam was strategically recruited to play forward on the Dropbox basketball team. Now that he's here, he may as well sell Dropbox for Teams in his free time between games.
Ben Coggins
Sales
Ben is a native Northern Californian that received his BA in Economics and Chinese at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has previously worked at SAP and BrightEdge, an enterprise SEO platform. While he loves being a software salesman, he is also mildly obsessed with basketball, silent discos, and hot sauce popcorn.
Chris Barton
Biz Dev
Chris loves to dream about product strategy even though he is a Biz Dev guy. He has spent years in mobile ever since SMS was considered an advanced data experience. He came to us from the Android team and clearly loves his Android phones, especially if they have Shazam and Dropbox on them!
Michelle Chang
Admin Asst.
Michelle is on the fabulous admin team at Dropbox. Her favorite things in life are cats, Taylor Swift, and every episode of Grey's Anatomy. She can't wait to initiate "bring your cat to work" day, and is fascinated by slinkies.
Panda
Engineer
Panda joins us from Sichuan University. When not coding, she enjoys wrestling and bamboo. Panda is a proud supporter of the WWF.
Emily Zhao
Biz Dev
Emily took her last final at MIT and moved to SF the next day to join Dropbox. This will be updated when she figures out what she's doing.
Janet Chung
Admin Asst.
Janet was a Psych major at UCLA, so yes, she can read your mind. When she's not doing that, she's eating... a little too much, unfortunately. But it's ok, because her diet starts tomorrow. In her free time, she's learning languages, beating people at Tekken 3 and teaching herself how to dougie.
Anna Bofa
Sales
Anna likes to solve problems. She was working at Google but she really wanted a Dropbox hoodie. She couldn't find any on eBay so she just joined the company instead. Problem solved.
Glara Ahn
Office Team
Hi, welcome to Glara's world. In this photo, I'm petting ponies on Jeju island. These ponies are magical, and can never leave the island. I wish I were as wise as Jeju's Stone grandfather Dol hareubang. Please ask me about Gyrotonic sometime! By the same token, I'm very affected by the French New Wave. Imagination is reality: According to Wikipedia, the combination of objective realism, subjective realism, and authorial commentary creates a narrative ambiguity in the sense that questions that arise in a film are not answered in the end. Lastly, I grew up listening to C'est si bon.
Chris Beckmann
Product Manager
After years on frozen prairie plains of the midwest, Chris came west seeking better weather at UC Berkeley. Stints at companies small and large led Chris to Dropbox and their impressive supplies of Moleskines and Starbucks Via. When not caffeinating, you can find Chris eating or cycling (and occasionally both).
Whitney Naquin
Admin Asst.
Whitney is basically a stereotype. Her interests include cats, royal weddings, and every Taylor Swift song. She just happens to work at Dropbox too.
ACD
Product Mktg.
A young Anna-Christina Douglas, a.k.a. ACD, left the Big Apple for the palm trees of Stanford, where she stayed for six years. She finally graduated to Google and spent five years working on Gmail, Chrome, Wave, and YouTube. ACD is excited to join the Dropbox team and recommends that you watch this video.
Karl Dray
Engineer
Like his online dating profile, Karl's bio blurb got nixed for inappropriateness.
Hanz Cortés
Support Engineer
Hanz is a Latin American graduate of UNAM in Mexico City. He left to try his luck in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. That is why he is now in SF working at Dropbox. When not analyzing problems, he is probably destroying any available drum set.
Valerie Huffman
Finance
When not geeking out over the most recent PCAOB release, this Bay Area native is enjoying Napa's finest wines, running the trails of the Presidio and cheering on her Golden Bears. Go Bears!
Marcia Velencia
Human Resources
Marcia is a native Pennyslvanian who wandered to NYC and LA before landing in the Bay Area. She loves people, so she's pumped to help all of the awesome people at Dropbox with their HR needs. Her interests include high fiving, getting things done (especially if it involves using Excel), urban hiking, eating pizza, and watching way too much TV.
Silvanus Lee
Biz Dev
Silvanus grew up in Singapore and moved to the bay area when he enrolled at Stanford. He shared his first file on Dropbox while collaborating with friends on his senior software project.

Dark Ops
Ruchi Sanghvi built Newsfeed at Facebook, launched Facebook Platform and Connect and then went on to start her own company. She's now working hard at becoming a bona fide Dropboxer.

Prior to Cove, he was amongst the first engineers at Facebook and was responsible for building out Facebook Search and running Product Engineering. He loves house music and cricket. He went to school at CMU, home of the Andrew File System - the original Dropbox.
Thomas Carriero
Engineer
Thomas (Tido the Great, for short) is a Nosetouching enthusiast. While he's not attempting to touch noses with strangers, his hobbies include building software and learning to fly.
Julie Tung
Engineer
Julie is a Stanford grad who comes to Dropbox by way of Google and Facebook. In her spare time, Julie loves to read, play board games, and eat desserts (making them too...but especially eating them).
Ambrus Csaszar
Engineer
A Bay Area native, Ambrus studied at Caltech while encoding secret messages in the brains of Mars rovers and lunar robots. Before realizing his calling to change the face of cloud sync with Dropbox, he built control systems and computer vision technologies at several startups in the LA area. He moonlights as a (highly unskilled) beer connoisseur, outdoorsman, and wannabe daredevil.
Sarah T. N.
Legal
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Sarah decided she would be better at writing contracts than writing code. She went to Stanford since it was the best law school with a decent football team. After years as a MoFo, Sarah is excited to be a Dropboxer. Sarah enjoys watching college football, gardening, painting, and taking trips to the wine country.
Lilly Lujan
Finance
Lilly is the cash money queen, making sure everyone at Dropbox gets paid. She love music and travel, so at any given time will have tickets to at least a couple shows and maybe a roundtrip ticket to some far off destination. She also writes rather risque poetry that you should definitely check out!
Rachel Johns
Office Team
Rachel graduated from UCSB with a degree in Communication, Spanish, and the Art of Charades. She caught the travel bug post-college and spent the last three years in Australia attempting to master the accent (to no success). Happy to be back in the States, she now spends her time practicing yoga, eating cheese, and trying her hardest not to snort when she laughs.
Natalie Burdick
Admin Asst.
After a successful international acting career, Natalie is hanging up her Oscar-winning hat for the green pastures of Dropbox. She graduated from Harvard, Oxford, and Yale in a three-year time span and as an Olympic athlete, ranked first in the world with a 3:42 mile time. Chuck Norris is also Natalie's father.
Melissa S.
Support Engineer
Melissa graduated from the University of Rochester in NY where she studied Brain and Cognitive Science. One day she decided to move west, so she packed up her life in her car and took a month-long solo cross country trip to find herself in San Francisco, where she now does support for Dropbox. When not providing support she is coaching track and field.
Dave Meng
Support Engineer
David is another alumnus of Rutgers University where he studied Computer Engineering. He really enjoys doing nothing at all but occasionally is forced to eat awesome food with friends, go out to see a ridiculous movie, or play some ultimate frisbee.
Robert Watson
Support Engineer
Robert comes from the great state of Texas as an unapologetic gamer. Board games, card games, mind games... You name it, he's played it or is willing to play it. When not gaming, or Dropboxing, Robert is trying the variety of international foods in the Bay Area.
