Distributions provide site features and functions for a specific type of site as a single download containing Drupal core, contributed modules, themes, and pre-defined configuration. They make it possible to quickly set up a complex, use-specific site in fewer steps than if installing and configuring elements individually.
Commerce Kickstart
Commerce Kickstart is the quickest way to get up and running with Drupal Commerce. It includes the latest versions of Drupal core, Drupal Commerce, and the other modules it depends on. It also gives you a set of options to create a fully-featured demo store out of the box complete with an attractive theme, catalog and search configuration, and a custom back office interface.

OpenPublish
OpenPublish is a packaged distribution designed for the online news industry. It is ideal for the implementation of a variety of media outlets sites including magazines, newspapers, journals, trade publications, broadcast, wire service, multimedia sites and membership publications. OpenPublish is built for flexibility, customization, and extension -- a powerful CMS to help publishers focus on their content.

In that case, feel free to open an issue in the issue queue.
OpenPublic
Audience: Site administrators, Developers and coders, Documentation contributors, Themers
For government and public policy organizations, open source only works if it’s built for the security, accessibility, and flexibility requirements of the public sector. The open government and open data initiatives provide ample opportunities for innovation in web applications and data visualization. But without security and accessibility measures that we can trust, our “open” goals cannot be achieved.
OpenPublic provides a distribution specially designed for open government requirements, such as improving citizen services, providing public access to data and providing a public forum for two way communication with agencies, without compromising accessibility, security, or usability.
Built from experience working with top-level government agencies and organizations. Built to publish information on any device. Built with accessibility best practices in mind for both the public-facing site and the administrative interfaces. Built with security needs answered out-of-the-box.

Open Deals Drupal Distribution
About Open Deals
Open Deals is a Free Deals Site distribution, based on Drupal 7, Drupal Commerce and other modules.
You can use the distribution for you or your clients and you can modify it at will.
We hope that the distribution will be beneficial and useful for you.
We'll be glad to listen to your comments and feedback.
Installation and setup instructions
1. Install as you would install Drupal. Select the Open Deals profile when asked.
Keep in mind though, that you will need to set php memory limit to at least 128MB and php max execution time to at least 120 seconds.
You can set the previous php settings by adding these two lines at the end of the .htaccess file:
php_value memory_limit 128M
php_value max_execution_time 120
OR by asking your host to change these values for you.
2. Do any modification you see fit to make your site work as expected. Most probably, you will want to:
a) Change the logo and / or the colors of your site. We propose that you do a subtheme and not alter the main theme.
b) Add and setup your payment methods and checkout process.
c) Change the texts of the site to make it unique (FAQ, How it Works, About etc.).
d) Update the links to Facebook, Twitter etc. to yours.

Open Enterprise
Open Enterprise is designed to greatly simplify deployment of typical Drupal websites and popular components. It leverages the novel Apps model to enable one click installs of a growing library of popular plug and play features such as blogs, FAQs, events, locations and photo galleries. Its primary goal is to make Drupal simple enough for non-technical people yet retain all of Drupal’s legendary power and flexibility.
Open Enterprise was designed to serve three needs:
- Enhanced Drupal base install – By moving the bulk of site building to Apps that can be installed at any time, the Open Enterprise core is able to be lightweight and adaptable for virtually any Drupal project. The core contains essential modules, usability enhancements and a clever WYSIWYG implementation. If you are new to Drupal, OE can be a great way to learn how to build robust sites. If you are an expert, it can help you get a big jump on your next project.
- Business, organization and general websites – Open Enterprise’s App server is full of popular features commonly found on corporate, non-profit, personal and other websites. By combining Drupal 7 and OE’s core usability enhancements with the one click install ease of Apps, the power of Drupal is finally readily accessible to all organizations.
- Inbound marketing engine – While you can build common business and organizational websites quickly with OE, it really shines as the hub for expanding your digital footprint and building your organization online. It provides a one-of-a-kind suite of content strategy, SEO and social media tools to help drive traffic, engage visitors, convert & retain champions and unleash your online brand.

ELMS
Watch the ELMS tutorial channel now!
ELMS stands for e-Learning Management System. ELMS has been created by Penn State University to meet needs in the development of content for online courses. These courses can be both closed enrolement and linked to internal systems, or completely open as OER. The result is an incredibly powerful learning environment that can be used to create engaging materials and experiences for students.
ELMS reduces technical barriers for instructional designers and faculty through the use of outlining and page creation tools. Staff no longer has to worry about where to upload files or if they structured an HTML document correctly as ELMS manages file locations and menus dynamically. It also helps provide a way of creating accessible content through well structured themes, stylesheets, and active advisement to help ensure accessibility requirements are maintained. ELMS also has great web 2.0 integration and since it's built on drupal you can pretty much find anything you need to integrate with!
ELMS is a staff empowerment system built "For instructional designers, by instructional designers."

NodeMaker
NodeMaker Status
The NodeMaker suite is currently under heavy, active development, an we expect an alpha release in the next couple of weeks which translates to roughly the middle of August. We'll be pushing for a DrupalCon Munich release announcement!!
General Information
NodeMaker is the standard distribution used to develop premium themes at ThemeGeeks. The NodeMaker distribution provides a wealth of default features that provide a fantastic starting point for any small site, and for many a large project as well. NodeMaker is NOT required to be used for any theme purchase at ThemeGeeks, however, using it will ensure your theme appears out of the box as you'd expect. The default content provided in the distribution directly demonstrates all sorts of theme layer magic.
If you are using a ThemeGeeks premium theme that is not based on one of the other popular distributions we create themes for, then NodeMaker is exactly what you want!
