    I’m thrilled to be coming back! My first job was at UCSD. Our kids were born at UCSD. Being on faculty and directing the pediatric residency program was an honor. Looking forward to meeting the newest med school graduates as they head off to make a difference in the world!

    Makes sense. As someone who is 6’ 6” I have to shorten my stride for most walking meetings. It’s good discipline!

    A pilot study showed that converting some of the time you're at work into a walking meeting is beneficial to cardiovascular health and, potentially, even to productivity.

    Thanks so much to Ann Marie Miller of for her thoughtful piece in today. We could not agree more that arts are a key part of a . We've long funded and for just that reason.

    Opinion: We urge the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Rutgers, and every healthcare facility in the state to include arts and culture as vital elements in their respective strategies to improve health, equity, and well-being for all New Jersey residents.

    This policy report worked on with & identifies the areas where New Jersey must do better. We plan to use this as a roadmap to guide some new investments in our home state, but we can’t do it alone.
