  • "Apps Script" enables End Users to build custom solutions and automate tasks within Google Workspace.

  • "Client-Side Encryption" allows an organization to use its own encryption keys to encrypt the applicable Customer Data input into certain Core Services, as described at https://support.google.com/a/answer/10741897.

  • "Cloud Identity Services" are as described at https://cloud.google.com/terms/identity/user-features.html.

  • "Enterprise Data Regions" allows Administrators to apply data region policy settings to certain regions for all or a selected subset of End Users for certain primary data-at-rest (including backups) within Customer Data, as described at https://support.google.com/a/answer/9223653.

  • "Gemini app" or for Google Workspace for Education editions, "Gemini for Education" (in each case, also known as "Gemini") is a conversational artificial intelligence tool that enables End Users to brainstorm ideas, spark creativity, and accelerate productivity. Enhanced artificial intelligence features in Gemini app (formerly referred to as Gemini Advanced) are available in certain Google Workspace editions, as further described below and at https://support.google.com/gemini/answer/14620100.

  • "Gemini in Workspace" (formerly known as Gemini for Google Workspace) refers to certain Services that allow End Users to use generative artificial intelligence features to help write content, organize files, visualize information, accelerate workflows, and have richer meetings. Services currently in Gemini in Workspace include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Forms, Google Meet, Google Pics, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Vids.

  • "Gemini Notebook (formerly known as NotebookLM)" is a generative artificial intelligence tool that enables End Users to generate responses, summaries, and audio overviews based on files and prompts provided by the End User. Enhanced artificial intelligence features in Gemini Notebook are available in certain Google Workspace editions as further described below and at https://support.google.com/notebooklm/answer/16337734.

  • "Gmail" enables Customers to send and receive email messages.

  • "Google Calendar" enables End Users to manage personal, organizational, and team calendars.

  • "Google Carrier Link" allows Customers to use certain Google-authorized Carrier Link-certified carriers for Google Voice functionality, separately from (and without the purchase of) Google Voice. Google Carrier Link enables Customers to use Google Voice’s enhanced software features, while maintaining their existing carrier relationship and internal telephony routing equipment and solutions. Google Carrier Link is only available in countries listed at https://support.google.com/a?p=sipcountries. Google Carrier Link is included in the Voice and Google SIP Link Add-On SKUs listed below.

  • "Google Chat" enables End Users to communicate in real time through an enhanced chat messaging and group collaboration platform.

  • "Google Cloud Search" provides End Users with search and assist capabilities for content within certain Core Services for Google Workspace and third party data sources (as applicable).

  • "Google Contacts" allows End Users to import, store, and view contact information, and create personal groups of contacts that can be used to email many people at once.

  • "Google Docs," "Google Forms," "Google Sheets," "Google Slides," and "Google Vids," enable End Users to create, edit, share, collaborate, draw, export, and embed content on documents, forms, spreadsheets, presentations and videos. End Users can access generative AI features in Google Vids, as described at https://support.google.com/docs/answer/15609411?hl=en, subject to any usage limits in certain Google Workspace editions, as described at https://support.google.com/a?p=gemini_terms.

  • "Google Drive" allows End Users to store, transfer, view, and share files.

  • "Google Groups for Business" allows End Users to communicate using collaborative groups, and Administrators to configure features and services for different groups of End Users.

  • "Google Keep" enables End Users to create, edit, share, and collaborate on notes, lists, and drawings.

  • "Google Meet" allows End Users to communicate in real time through small-scale and large capacity video meetings, including dial-out and dial-in calling (carrier fees may apply). Calling in Google Meet is provided by the entities listed at https://workspace.google.com/terms/service-terms/meet-telephony/providers.html. Emergency calling is not supported for Google Meet.

  • "Google Pics" is a generative artificial intelligence tool that allows End Users to create and refine images.

  • "Google SIP Link" allows Customers to connect their carrier service to Google Voice functionality through their own third party Session Border Controller and carrier trunk, separately from (and without the purchase of) Google Voice. Google SIP Link enables Customers to use Google Voice’s enhanced software features, while maintaining their existing carrier relationship and internal telephony routing equipment and solutions. Google SIP Link is only available in countries listed at https://support.google.com/a?p=sipcountries. Additional fees apply to use of Google SIP Link.

  • "Google Sites" allows End Users to create a site and share it with a group of other End Users.

  • "Google Tasks" enables End Users to create, edit and manage their tasks.

  • "Google Vault" provides search and export capabilities, data archiving, retention and eDiscovery capabilities. Customers must continue to use/purchase Google Vault for Google to retain archived data.

  • "Google Voice" is an Administrator-managed IP-based telephony service that allows Customers to assign and manage phone numbers for use by End Users and for End Users to make and receive calls using the assigned numbers. Google Voice is provided by Google Affiliates as described in the Google Voice Service Specific Terms and is only available in countries listed at https://support.google.com/a/answer/9206529. Additional fees apply to use of Google Voice.

  • "Google Workspace Assured Controls" and "Google Workspace Assured Controls Plus" provide certain compliance and security controls within Google Workspace, as described at https://support.google.com/a/answer/13880647. These include, for Google Workspace Assured Controls Plus, Access Management (geographic limitations on Google support actions related to Customer Data) and other additional functionality.

  • "Google Workspace Migrate" is an Administrator-managed on-premise service for migrating End User data to Customer’s Google Workspace Account.

  • "Google Workspace Studio" enables End Users to automate actions across multiple Workspace Services and Additional Products, as described, and subject to any usage limits are described at https://support.google.com/workspace-studio.

  • "Meet Global Dialing" supports expanded dial-in and dial-out calling in Google Meet video meetings.

  • "Workspace Additional Storage" allows Customers to increase their total amount of pooled storage available.

  • "Workspace Add-Ons" are, collectively, Enterprise Data Regions, Gemini in Workspace, Google Carrier Link, Google SIP Link, Google Voice, Google Workspace Assured Controls, Google Workspace Assured Controls Plus, Meet Global Dialing, and Workspace Additional Storage, as described further below.

  • Search and intelligence features enable enhanced search and retrieval across all services, providing cross-product content search and automatic categorization of content for use in active services.

• Other Services

  • "AppSheet" is a web-based platform, generally available at https://www.appsheet.com, that allows organizations to create and host applications without the need to write complicated or excessive code. For resellers, distributors, or suppliers of the Services, AppSheet is a Restricted Service under the Google Cloud Partner Advantage program.

  • "Gemini in AppSheet" is a generative artificial intelligence tool that enables End Users to process data, extract insights, and otherwise accelerate workflows in certain AppSheet editions listed below, as further described at https://support.google.com/appsheet/answer/16106353.

Workspace Add-Ons:

• Google Workspace Add-Ons can be added at an additional cost, unless indicated otherwise, to certain editions of Google Workspace, as provided in the Google Workspace Editions / SKUs table below.

• Gemini in Workspace Add-Ons (formerly known as Gemini for Google Workspace Add-Ons)

  • "Google AI Pro for Education" is a version of Gemini in Workspace that allows End Users access to generative AI features in certain Services provided in their edition of Google Workspace for Education as described at https://support.google.com/a?p=get_gemini_edu_addons. Google AI Pro for Education also includes access to the enhanced artificial intelligence features of Gemini for Education and Gemini Notebook.

  • As of August 28, 2025, the “Gemini Education” and “Gemini Education Premium” Add-Ons are no longer available for purchase. Customers with existing orders for these Add-Ons (under an online or offline order form) will continue to use the Add-Ons, and upon renewal will automatically be moved to Google AI Pro for Education (unless either party requests to not renew).

As of January 15, 2025, the Gemini in Workspace Add-Ons listed below are no longer available for purchase. Customers with existing orders for these Add-Ons (under an online or offline order form) will have continued access and use of the features included in the Add-Ons, and those features will be available at no additional cost starting on February 01, 2025, as described at https://support.google.com/a?p=gemini_update_addon.

• • "AI Meetings and Messaging" (no longer available for purchase) is a separate SKU that allows End Users access to generative AI features in Google Chat and Google Meet, as described at https://support.google.com/a/answer/13623623#get_gemini.

  • "AI Security" (no longer available for purchase) is a separate SKU that allows Customers access to generative AI security-related features in Google Drive, as described at https://support.google.com/a/answer/13623623#get_gemini.

  • "Gemini Business" (also referred to as "Gemini Business-Legacy") (no longer available for purchase) is a version of Gemini in Workspace that allows End Users access to generative AI features in certain Google Workspace Services, as described at https://support.google.com/a/answer/13623623#get_gemini, subject to the usage limits allocated per End User license as described at https://support.google.com/a?p=gemini_limits (as may be updated from time to time). Gemini Business also includes access to enhanced artificial intelligence features of Gemini app and Gemini Notebook. 

  • "Gemini Enterprise" (also referred to as “Gemini Enterprise-Legacy” and formerly known as Duet AI for Google Workspace Enterprise) (no longer available for purchase) is a version of Gemini in Workspace that allows End Users access to generative AI features in certain Google Workspace Services, as described at https://support.google.com/a/answer/13623623#get_gemini. Gemini Enterprise also includes access to enhanced artificial intelligence features of Gemini app and Gemini Notebook.  

• Google Voice and Google SIP Link Add-Ons

  • "Voice Starter" is a version of Google Voice that allows only up to 10 End Users in a single country.

  • "Voice Standard" is a version of Google Voice that supports any number of End Users in a single country and also includes Google SIP Link, deskphone compatibility, and multi-level auto-attendant features.

  • "Voice Premier" is a version of Google Voice that supports any number of End Users in multiple countries and also includes Google SIP Link, deskphone compatibility, multi-level auto-attendant features, and advanced reporting functionality.

  • "Google SIP Link Standard" is a version of Google SIP Link that supports any number of End Users in a single country and also includes deskphone compatibility and multi-level auto-attendant features.

  • "Google SIP Link Premier" is a version of Google SIP Link that supports any number of End Users in multiple countries and also includes deskphone compatibility, multi-level auto-attendant features, and advanced reporting functionality.

  • "Googe Carrier Link" is a feature of the Voice and Google SIP Link Add-Ons listed above. While the feature itself is available for no additional charge, Voice licenses and phone numbers must be purchased from the applicable carriers, as described in https://workspace.google.com/admin/voice/carrier-link-works.

• Meet Global Dialing

  • "Meet Global Dialing" is a separate SKU that has no cost to subscribe, but usage is charged per minute.

• Workspace Additional Storage

  • "Workspace Additional Storage" are separate SKUs that can be added to certain editions of Google Workspace to increase the total amount of pooled storage by the relevant storage increments purchased, as described at https://support.google.com/a/answer/12284220?sjid=11734572051359196989-AP.

Generative AI features are not included in custom editions of Google Workspace (such as Deskless GSE).

• Google Workspace for Education and Nonprofits Core and Other Services: All editions of Google Workspace for Education include the Main Core Services and Google Workspace LTI, Classroom, and Chrome Sync as Core Services. Google Workspace for Nonprofits includes Classroom as a Core Service. All editions of Google Workspace for Education also include Read Along as an Other Service.

  • "Google Workspace LTI" is a suite of add-on applications that leverages the "Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI)" standard to integrate Google Workspace for Education functionality into third-party learning management systems (LMS). Google Workspace LTI includes the following LTI tools:

    • - "Assignments" allows End Users to distribute, collect, and grade student work.

    • - "Drive LTI" allows End Users to embed and share Drive files directly within their LMS.

    • - "Meet LTI" allows End Users to establish secure meeting spaces to facilitate online learning within their LMS.

  • "Chrome Sync" allows End Users to synchronize bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings across all the devices where they are signed in to Chrome.

  • "Classroom" allows End Users to create and participate in classroom groups. Using Classroom, students can view assignments, submit homework, and receive grades from teachers.

  • "Read Along" is an AI-based language-learning application that helps students learn to read using a virtual speech-based tutor. Read Along has an integration with Google Classroom that allows teachers to assign reading activities and get auto-generated insights that supports differentiated learning.

• The "Archived User" offering for each Google Workspace or G Suite edition allows an organization to maintain End User Accounts for former End Users for Customer’s data archival purposes. A native integrated Archived User state for former employees is also available for certain Google Workspace editions, as described at https://knowledge.workspace.google.com/admin/users/archive-former-employee-accounts.

• The "Gmail Only User" offering for each Google Workspace for Education edition, described in detail at https://support.google.com/a/answer/15739372, allows an organization to maintain an End User Account with limited access only to Gmail and other select services such as Calendar, Contacts, and Meet (limited access). Access to Classroom, Chrome Sync, Google Drive, and Workspace LTI is not included.

• Additional AppSheet Versions: In addition to the free version of AppSheet, which is included in all editions of Google Workspace, "AppSheet Core" and "AppSheet Enterprise Plus" are enhanced versions of AppSheet, as described at https://about.appsheet.com/pricing/. AppSheet Core is included in certain editions of Google Workspace (as shown in the table below) and can be added at an additional cost to any other edition of Google Workspace.
