Understanding what learners want to learn is only half the picture. We also need to understand what employers need their people to know and do. Today, we published The State of Enterprise Learning 2026, new research from 2U and NewtonX based on insights from more than 500 learning and workforce strategy leaders worldwide. The findings reveal a significant gap: 83% of employers prioritize AI skills, but only 29% have developed mature AI capabilities. For 2U and our partners, market intelligence like this is critical. Bringing employer needs together with learner demand helps us make better-informed decisions about which programs to build, where to invest, and how to deliver learning that meets the needs of a changing workforce. Explore the report https://lnkd.in/ewVmUWGt and join our edX team today at 10 a.m. ET for a webinar unpacking the findings https://lnkd.in/euBmAP33.

Honored to be included in Edtech Insiders latest podcast hosted by my great colleague Alex Sarlin. Alex and I had a great discussion about my new role at 2U and how our team is reimagining edX for the future. We also discussed the headwinds across higher education and what #AI can -and cannot- do to address some of the most salient challenges. Throughout the podcast, I emphasized that the best future is one where our next steps are co-created with our partners, so thank you to our University Partner Advisory Council: Carissa Little, Willem van Valkenburg, James DeVaney, Joshua Kim, Jascha Smilack, William Gaudelli, Eddie Maloney, and Kevin Bell Ed.D +Ben Kornell Listen here: https://lnkd.in/g3iauqfG
