Calendars are full. Days are noisy. The real question isn't when we meet, but whether we should. Doodle isn't just another scheduling tool. It's a partner that protects what matters, connects who matters, and makes room for the work that counts. We don't fill time. We create it. Let's talk 👉 https://lnkd.in/eAvA88kY Doodle. Your partner in time. https://lnkd.in/eGQbvX9f

  • In a study this year by EDUCAUSE, 46% of respondents identified lack of time to learn new skills as a challenge. Meanwhile, 65% selected offloading administrative burdens and mundane tasks as a promising opportunity. Heavy AI users can still spend half the week in coordination tasks. Before asking campus teams to learn something new, we should give them something back: time. Connecting administrative relief leaves space for professional development. A packed event can still leave people wondering: “Did I meet anyone I needed to meet?” Answering that question matters to attendees and it matters to exhibitors. The venue itself is hoping the organizer comes back. IRL by Doodle helps people find each other and book meetings before, during and after an event. As connections happen, organizers and venues can see the activity behind the event’s value. A full room may look good in a photo but helping the right people find each other is what makes them want to return. See how IRL works here: https://irl.doodle.com/

We realize the irony of inviting you to another calendar event to talk about having fewer meetings. 😅 But this is a conversation you'll be putting to good use long after spending a bit of your Friday with us. Today we're sitting down with Rebecca Hinds, PhD, author of Your Best Meeting Ever, for Doodle’s first webinar in our new series. We had Rebecca speak to our team in Berlin, and we've been thinking about our own calendars differently ever since. We’ll talk about which meetings deserve to exist, how to keep reclaimed time from filling right back up and the extra work AI quietly adds to our days. If you’ve ended a packed workday wondering when you were supposed to get your actual work done, we’d love for you to join us. Bring a question or a meeting habit you’re ready to challenge. There’s still time to register: https://lnkd.in/g5p6bFXt Hope to see some familiar faces there.

#hyprliebtseinepartnerinnen

  • Schedules have been shaken up more than ever with new tools and Rebecca is here to help us learn how to navigate the growing meeting bloat. Join us this Friday to cap off your week by learning some very practical ways to bring calm back to your calendar. https://lnkd.in/g5p6bFXt https://lnkd.in/p/eRPkBsrA

Last week, United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby made headlines for capping his meetings at 4 hours a day. Kirby also shared his rule for PowerPoint presentations: “You’re not going to read slides to me.” I love the commitment to curb meeting bloat, but it’s a bit grim that 4 hours of meetings a day is considered radical and grabs headlines. It's the equivalent of eight 30-minute meetings. Add lunch, bathroom breaks, email, Slack, and hopefully a little buffer to avoid those nasty meeting hangovers, and your workday has been gobbled up. This Friday, I’m teaming up with my friends at Doodle to talk about the question that ought to come before the meeting budget, the agenda, the attendee list, or (especially!) the AI notetaker: Does this meeting need to exist? We'll talk about squashing meeting debt, breaking the habits that keep lousy meetings lingering, and setting rules to keep new ones from colonizing your calendar. And like many great meetings, we also have a “no-agenda.” On it: whether bringing iced coffee to a meeting is professional...Although we may discuss something related: the Law of Triviality. The more trivial the issue (say, your coffee order), the more time people tend to spend discussing it. Would love to see you there. Registration link👇
