About us

The Economic Graph is a digital representation of the global economy based on over 1.2 billion members; 41,000 skills; 69 million companies; and 140,000 schools. In short: it’s all the data on LinkedIn. Through mapping every member, company, job, and school, we’re able to spot trends like talent migration, hiring rates, and in-demand skills by region. These insights help us connect people to economic opportunity in new ways. And by partnering with governments and organizations around the world, we help them better connect people to opportunities.

Europe’s energy transformation needs talent. According to LinkedIn's Economic Graph, electrician hiring across France, Italy and Germany grew 16% between 2019 and 2025. From managing the digital solutions underpinning our energy systems, to installing and servicing hardware in homes, on the road, or on the factory floor – we need to equip people with the right skills to power Europe’s future. Schneider Electric does this through a range of training programs and collaborations with universities and other partners across Europe. But we need more awareness and action across the board. We are happy to collaborate with LinkedIn to reveal some of the talent trends shaping the future of energy. Look out for our research report coming soon. #LinkedInSchneiderElectricResearch

  • Our newly released data explores what the next generation of talent needs to thrive as AI reshapes the way we work… and we had the chance to take those insights off the page and into a room full of young professionals.  At the Empire State Building, 100+ people came together for an evening hosted by Superhuman and LinkedIn, grounded in new research on how the early-career skill set is changing in an AI-enabled workforce. Economic Graph’s very own Sharat Raghavan walked young professionals through the data in a tangible, relatable way with the opportunity for Q&A alongside Superhuman exec Leah Pincsak and creator + founder Morgan Young. The data tells an interesting story: AI is changing how we work, but it’s also putting a sharper spotlight on the skills AI can’t replace — the ability to communicate clearly, build relationships, exercise judgment, connect the dots, and understand the bigger picture. The future of work will require AI fluency. It will also require something much harder to automate: human fluency.
