A child who restarts a sentence is often doing more reading work than a child who glides past an error. The restart is evidence they are checking meaning against print. Jumping in too fast can steal the chance to finish that check. Teachers already know the difference between a stuck reader and a monitoring reader. Naming it in the moment helps colleagues see it too. Books will always matter. The page is where that private check happens.

No advertising profiles on children. No asking a child for a name, photo, or location just to use Dreambook. Voice recordings stay only as long as the feature needs them. Parents get verified through Kids Web Services. Epic Games built it for children's apps, so that check is not happening in-house. Consent is specific. One yes at signup does not cover a voice recording, or sharing that voice, or a story leaving the app months later. When you share, the app checks again.
