Mr. Oshada Senanayake is a Board Director at Brandix and a Non-Executive Independent Director at Ceylinco Life PLC. He is the former Chairman of the ICTA and Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka. As part of his national service, he launched the "Connect Sri Lanka Project," which aimed for 100% 4G and fiber broadband coverage across the country. He also initiated Starlink Services in Sri Lanka in engagement with SpaceX. His work has contributed to Sri Lanka's ranking of 8th globally for the most affordable mobile broadband services and 20th for fixed broadband. In the private sector, Senanayake previously headed Pyxle, an IT solutions company, and was instrumental in its merger with Tavistock Group. He has extensive experience in the IT sector, having worked with Fortune 100 clientele in the US and Europe. He holds an MBA from AIB Australia and a Bachelor’s from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle and recently was awarded the most Outstanding Alumnus award by the Oxford College of Business. Mr. Oshada is also a visiting lecturer for University of Bedfordshire at the Oxford School of Business for post graduate, MBA students and shares his knowledge of areas of Strategic Management, Digital Marketing & IT Governance.
