About Arizona Teachers Academy at ASU
The Arizona Teachers Academy award provides aspiring educators with financial support while preparing them to make a lasting impact in Arizona’s classrooms. This scholarship program helps students pursue teaching degrees at Arizona’s public universities while opening the door to a rewarding career in education.
At ASU, the ATA award is available to Arizona residents who are incoming transfer or graduate students enrolled in eligible teacher certification programs, subject to available funding. Programs are offered in a variety of in-person and online formats, making it easier to find an option that fits your goals and schedule.
Explore our programs, find the right fit, and take the next step toward becoming a certified teacher. In return for receiving the award, recipients commit to teaching in an Arizona public school after graduation for the same number of years they received ATA funding.
