There's a little panel van driving around here every two weeks selling an assortment of odd and delicious cheeses. Last time I bought 'Bowland' cheese from the guy;

Which is a salty but really unique (and good!) tasting British cheese which is supposed to have apple pie flavour.

I visited the cheesemonger's yesterday and purchased a few cheeses:

These took the form of one blue cheese, Bleu d'Auvergne, (from France), two hard cheeses, a young cow's milk Gouda with cumin seeds, and a small slice of Raclette, the former from the Netherlands, the latter from France.

A small slice of Taleggio (from Italy), and a half of a cylinder of Chaource, a glorious cow's milk cheese from Burgundy, in France completed my selection.

Purchased a slice of serious (and rare) Swiss Raclette, (Vache rye, is apparently the name it goes by), some Gorgonzola Cremosa and Taleggio (both from Italy), and some onion and nettle Gouda (from the Netherlands), yesterday.
