    Open Wearables

    Open Wearables

Self-hosted platform to unify wearable health data

Open Wearables is an open-source initiative that aims to provide a community-driven ecosystem for wearable device software and interoperability by connecting sensor data, activity tracking, and health insights across multiple platforms and devices. Instead of relying on closed vendor ecosystems, the project provides standardized data models and APIs that let developers and hobbyists collect, sync, and analyze biometric and environmental data from wearables, DIY sensors, and open hardware projects. This approach allows users to break free from manufacturer lock-in while enabling richer, customizable dashboards, real-time visualizations, and personalized health analytics that match real-world needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. It provides building blocks for federated data storage, modular device drivers, and plugin frameworks so contributions from different communities can extend capabilities without rewriting core logic.

    OpenPatientOS

    OpenPatientOS

OpenPatientOS is an information system for managing patient records

It can support a small clinic or hospital in managing patient personal, medical, and billing records through an easy to use Swing user interface. How to install: i. Simply import the database dump from the database folder to create the necessary tables for the system to run. You can use either phpMyAdmin for localhost; Microsoft SQL Server; or simply Query Browser for MySQL. Other database environments have not been tested hence I don't guarantee their adaptability. ii. Run and Build the system in NetBeans IDE 7.0. Other IDEs have not been tested for this system. A more stable and installable version will be released soon. iii. Please rate the system and leave comments or reviews. iv. If you need any further clarification, post a question/query/doubt in the Wiki and I will reply ASAP. NB: Please use the "External Link" menus above to support this project in one way or another. PM me for other means. Any kind of support will be very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

    Ambulatorio

    Web-based outpatients managing software

"Ambulatorio" is a server-based outpatients managing software written in PHP and MySQL. The user interface, made of HTML, CSS and small chunks of Javascript, is basic and in Italian only. Probably the main peculiarity is that I am a medical doctor and I programmed it to meet my professional requirements, without asking an expert programmer to translate what I need for my clinical practice.
