Ayaspell project aims to provide arabic dictionaries for free office applications like OpenOffice.org, Firefox: spellchecking (hunspell-ar), thesaurus (thesaurus-ar) and Morphological lexicon (Grammar-ar). Maintained by Taha Zerrouki.

"Jaba" Chinese word segmentation, do the best Python Chinese word segmentation component. Four word segmentation modes are supported. Precise mode, which tries to cut the sentence most precisely, suitable for text analysis. Full mode, scans all the words that can be formed into words in the sentence, the speed is very fast, but the ambiguity cannot be resolved. The search engine mode, on the basis of the precise mode, divides the long words again to improve the recall rate, which is suitable for word segmentation in search engines. The paddle mode uses the PaddlePaddle deep learning framework to train the sequence labeling (bidirectional GRU) network model to achieve word segmentation. Also supports part-of-speech tagging. To use paddle mode, you need to install paddlepaddle-tiny, pip install paddlepaddle-tiny==1.6.1. Currently paddle mode supports jieba v0.40 and above. For versions below jieba v0.40, please upgrade jieba, pip install jieba --upgrade.

ChordSmith is a ChordPro editor that can display, transpose and print song sheets containing chords and lyrics. It can also edit and convert song sheet formats between ChordPro format (chords in square brackets in line with lyrics) and two-line format (chords above lyrics). Uosk (formerly Charmappino) is a virtual keyboard that opens any ASCII, ANSI, UTF-8 and UTF-16 text file and converts words (e.g. separated by spaces) into buttons. Clicking one button the text snippet is pasted into any text editor (Notepad, WordPad, MS Office, OpenOffice...). You can edit snippets directly in Uosk, and save them as a new txt file. The snippet can also be copied to clipboard. It's basically a virtual keyboard with ability to set any amount of characters in one button. Uosk comes with some preset keyboard: Arabic, box drawing, Devanagari, emoji, Greek, Hebrew, Hiragana, IPA, Katakana, Russian and Windows-1252.

NAT is a free universal Braille translator. It supports French Braille grade 1, mathematical Braille, Braille layout and reverse transcription. French Braille grade 2, music and other languages are currently under development.

Sharada-Braille-Writer (S.B.W) is a text editor for GNU/Linux which support braille input. In S.B.W, Simultaneous multiple press of braille combinations, will produce corresponding letters. So one can input text in more than 40 languages with braille knowledge in perkins like way. letters f, d, s, j, k, l represent 1 2 3 4 5 6 of the braille dots respectively. There is Dzongkha keyboard for WIndows that allows people who are familiar with Tibetan alphabets order to type Tibetan. For people who are comfortable with English sounds of Tibetan characters, this keyboard offers the convenience to type Tibetan characters based on their English phonetic. There are more than 26 alphabets in Tibetan hence it is not possible to match all alphabets on just the English alphabet keys and some of the Tibetan characters are mapped onto symbol keys. Vowels are entered by "e", "i", "o", "u". By pressing the SHIFT key + alphabet , one can get the alphabet as a Tibetan lower stack character. Less often used characters, such as "laterally flipped" alphabets, and symbols are found using Alt + Ctrl+ [some key]. Special lower stack characters are found by using Alt + Ctrl+ Shift+[some key]. This keyboard has been put to use in digitizing a Tibetan prayer text that about 100 pages long. It is found to be user friendly and easy to use.
