Open Source C UML Tools

As software architect, you create a set of diagrams describing use-cases, requirements, structural views, behavioral and deployment views. These views show selected elements and their relationships. crystal_facet_uml keeps element names and element hierarchies consistent. This tool runs on your local PC. It stores the model data in a json-based file which can be versioned in git, branched and merged together with your source code. crystal-facet-uml exports diagrams as svg, pdf, ps, png or the complete model as DocBook, html, json or xmi.

The ADG library (Automatic Drawing Generation) is a set of functions focused on automating the drawing of mechanical parts. It is not a CAD system but a GObject-based library where a custom application can put common CAD entities such as paths, hatches and dimensions, to automatically create technical drawings. A demo application is provided in order to show the capabilities of the canvas. Although it is possible to interact with the library directly in C (that is what the adg-demo program is doing), the canvas is expected to be used from higher level languages, much in the same way as what done in the GNOME stack. Lua bindings based on LGI are already provided out of the box. The adg-lua project, downloadable from the "Files" section, provides Lua programs and demos that leverages these bindings.

ConceptBase.cc is a multi-user deductive and object-oriented database system for metamodeling and method engineering. Includes a graphical client that builds upon the logic-based features of the ConceptBase.cc server. The data model is O-Telos. ConceptBase.cc can represent information at the data level (example data, traces of process executions etc.), the class level (schemas, process definitions etc.), the metaclass level (constructs of modeling languages), the meta-metaclass level (constructs for defining modeling languages), and so forth. ConceptBase.cc is developed by the ConceptBase Team at University of Skövde (HIS). ConceptBase.cc supports Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. ConceptBase.cc is free software distributed under a FreeBSD-style license.

ObjectBuilder is a C++ CASE tool (CASE, refactoring, documentation generator). It lets you create, manipulate and navigate classes, class relations, class members and class methods at a high level of abstraction.

KML is a knowledge base with support of logical modeling. Advanced model is used to represent knowledge as a set of statements similar to natural language sentences. This project hosts a set of model storage library and server (vrb-ols) and clients.

Pretty Damn Quick (PDQ) analytically solves queueing network models of computer and manufacturing systems, data networks, etc., written in conventional programming languages. Generic or customized reports of predicted performance measures are output.

RANGE: produce random genetic transcription networks in the NEMO language, which when compiled outputs models in Systems Biology Markup Language. Generate synthetic microarray data, or use NEMO alone to SBML-ize a network, or visualize it in cytoscape.
