If you are still subscribed to this list, good for you. A new dotproject team has assembled (4 so far and growing every day) and is currently engaged in a thorough review of the requirements. Coding to remove some of the most annoying bugs is also under way but we are postponing any major rewrite or extension for the time being until we get a stable, documented and useful project in your hands. That's not to say that we don't want to hear about your imaginative ideas for how the existing functionality should perform or about new features and functions. We do. In fact, some limited new features are being worked on that I think you will like but they're not yet ready for prime-time discussion. More on this later. You may prefer to monitor the forums or the trackers at sourceforge () but at least continue to monitor this list and come back and check on us in three or four weeks to see how we're doing. -- Jim Flowers<jfl...@ez...> |

Just a quick note. I have taken the roll of Project Admin for dotProject and I am currently in the process of gathering my development team. It is not 100% definite yet, but it looks like we will be doing a complete rewrite of dotProject. Now is the time to let us know what features you would like to see in future releases. Go to the SourceForge web page at: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=372486&group_id=21656&func=browse and enter in your requested features. Or you can email me directly. I'll keep you updated as we start making some progress. Thank you for your interest in dotProject, -Patrick PS: All interested developers are welcome, drop me a note! |
