Virtual HDR OSD for Windows 11 is a lightweight Windows 11 HDR profile editor designed as a software counterpart to the controls that many monitors disable when HDR mode is enabled.
Features
- Real-time HDR ICC/ICM profile editing with Live Apply
- Software OSD for HDR monitors with locked hardware controls
- Gamma, brightness, contrast, white balance, tint, RGB and saturation adjustments
- SDR-in-HDR gamma 2.2 correction for Windows 11
- Automatic SDR/HDR profile switching and recovery
- Standalone watchdog for the Windows 11 profile-association bug
- Multi-monitor support
- Create an HDR profile from your display’s reported panel data, or continue using an existing profile.
- Follow a four-step calibration guide: Black level → Peak white → Full-frame white → Gamma match, with an option to skip steps.
- Browse additional patterns separately from the guided workflow.
- Check gamma with fixed reference rows, an adjustable target and a fine custom reference slider. Profile Gamma, Brightness and Contrast controls are available in the same step.
- Use optional ArgyllCMS/colorimeter measurements for white balance, a 33-point greyscale ramp and sustained full-screen luminance.
- Review effective BT.709, Display P3 and BT.2020 gamut coverage through the current HDR setup.
