eMembership for Labor Unions
eMembership is labor union software, built for the way locals actually run. It brings member records, dues, employers, contracts, grievances, organizing, dispatch, communications, and member self-service into one system, so your staff can stop juggling spreadsheets and disconnected tools. More than 55 labor unions across the US and Canada run on eMembership, and most of them are locals.
The platform has 18 configurable modules, including Member Management, Employer Management, Contract Management, Member and Employer Payments and Billing, Grievances, Organizing, Dispatch, Call Center, Meetings and Events, Surveys and Votes, Integrated Email and Text, Electronic Signatures, and Reports and Queries. We configure every implementation to your union's bylaws, contracts, and structure. eMembership handles classification-based dues across multiple contracts and multi-employer remittance. Grievances follow the steps in your contract, with deadline reminders routed to the assigned rep, and DOL-compliant electronic voting is built in.
Members get a native iOS and Android app and a web portal. Both sync with your staff system in real time, so members can pay dues, update their information, and check their status without calling the hall.
Winmill Software has been in business since 1994. We built the first version of eMembership in 2008, and we still build, run, and support it today. eMembership runs on infrastructure Winmill owns and operates inside a SOC 1 and SOC 2 audited, ISO 27001 certified facility, with HIPAA Security Rule and PCI DSS compliance maintained for the eMembership environment. We take care of the servers, security patches, monitoring, and nightly encrypted offsite backups, so your team can focus on members.
Every engagement starts with a fixed-scope, fixed-price Discovery Project. Your data migrates into a parallel environment your staff validates, and nothing goes live until your team signs off. After launch, two scheduled releases a year are included in your subscription, and our US-based team provides support backed by defined response targets.
Pricing follows the modules you use, with no per-seat or per-member fees, so adding members or staff never raises your software bill.
