"Recommend using Office Ally Service Center" Posted 2026-04-08
Pros: Biggest pros are ease of use as well as helping with office organization. The service center makes tracking claims easy
Cons: I find locating our new payers and adding new providers somewhat time consuming. Could make this procedure easier.
Overall: I have used this product for over 5 years. Helps to track claims and maintain organization for our business.

"Great low cost billing software for healthcare providers" Posted 2026-02-05
Pros: Service Center is the electronic claims clearinghouse for hundreds of insurance plans. It has a very simple user interface with a low learning curve. It is very easy to set up. You can create unlimited number of templates which can be reused on multiple claims of the same diagnoses and/or CPT codes.
Cons: The new interface is a bit confusing. However they allow you to toggle back to “classic” view of the site. There is a flat fee is $39.99 that is charged if you bill to non-participating plans in the given month. This is charged the same whether you bill 5 or 500 times. Can be costly for providers that are just starting out and may not have the volume of non-participating plans to make the $39.99 fee worthwhile.
Overall: Overall my experience with Service Center and Office Ally has been superb. Still use it regularly after 7 years in practice and will continue to use for the foreseeable future. 10/10 would recommend to healthcare providers especially chiropractors who have very simple claims billing needs. Makes more sense to submit claims internally when it is only a fraction of the practice instead of hiring a billing agency that works in a percentage basis.

"User Friendly Claims Submission" Posted 2026-02-02

Cons: There really isn’t anything that I dislike about the software.
Overall: Efficient claims processing for Medicare and other providers. Saves me time and makes my business work flow smoother.

"Long-time user, now looking for alternatives" Posted 2025-12-16
Pros: OA is able to interface with older software. I like that they are based in the Pacific Northwest. They have improved the look of the interface recently.
Cons: New pricing is not competitive for small practices who only submit few claims to non-participating Payors. The recent new fee increase (January 1, 2026) of approximately $48/month for submitting fewer than 30 claims to various payers will create extra work for us, as we will need to deal with several Clearinghouses, until we again find a single-point-of-contact clearinghouse with fair pricing for our low volume.
Overall: Disappointed about removal of complimentary non-par payor submission allowance below 50% submission for small practice and low volume.
