"Careful with PDFGuru.com the 0.99€ fee is a trick" Posted 2026-10-02
Pros: I thought the price of 0.99€ to edit a PDF was reasonable as an urgent job which I needed in a rush.
Cons: You get charged 0.99€ for a single PDF job which is fine. However after 7 days you will automatically get charged another 49.99€ subscription without warning. I have not used their services since that only job and have no further need for it, but they will not refund the 49.99€. I was never aware when paying 0.99€ that I would need to pay more after 7 days. Being a resident in Europe, I legally have 14 days to cancel my contract but they will not agree on a refund. This is a Scam. I'm not the only one with this experience, most of the genuine reviews of this company complain of the same issue.
Overall: Terrible experience and unfortunately I cannot recommend anybody to use their services. I've sent several emails with my complaint. After 3 emails, they no longer reply.

Dear Valued Customer! Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the charge came as a surprise and that you were also frustrated by the lack of a response to your emails. The €0.99 purchase is presented together with the applicable trial and subscription terms before payment is confirmed, including information about the subscription and its renewal. We understand, however, that these details may not have been clear enough in your case, and we take your feedback about the payment experience seriously. We’d like to review your specific account and the €49.99 charge, including your previous requests for assistance, and clarify what happened. Please contact us at social@pdfguru.com with the email address associated with your account or your transaction details so we can investigate this directly. -
