Ableton Note is a playable mobile app for sketching musical ideas anywhere, experimenting with sounds, capturing improvisations, and sampling the environment. Users can start with drum kits, melodic instruments, synth sounds, or their own recordings, then develop ideas by creating beats, melodies, chord progressions, and variations. Note includes a 16-pad percussion grid, a 25-pad melodic grid, piano roll, MIDI editing, quantization, note nudging, velocity changes, transposition, and external MIDI support over USB or Bluetooth.
