Proud moment: for the third year in a row, Microsoft has been named #1 on Forbes World's Best Employers list. The ranking is based on an independent survey of more than 300,000 employees at global companies. They rated their employers on pay, growth, work-life balance, and whether they'd recommend working there to friends and family. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e5mX-prV
Amy, Congratulations to you and the entire Microsoft team! This is an exceptional accomplishment. Having had the privilege of working closely with several Microsoft teams, it is clear there is a deep systemic commitment to continual professional development and a culture that is focused on high impact work that moves the needle for your customers. It is clear under your leadership, the human capital strategy directly fuels enterprise success.
Congrats, Microsoft. #1 employer three years in a row is definitely impressive. Of course, I saw this post and immediately thought, “Perfect. Now I have to test it myself.” Microsoft is officially going into The Interview Games. I’ll apply with a few different resume versions, test what gets through the ATS, watch what gets rejected, and document the candidate experience from the other side. Nothing personal, Microsoft. Just a little independent research with sarcasm, spreadsheets, and probably at least one Workday password reset.
Congratulations to the Microsoft team! 🏆 Being named the world’s best employer for three years in a row is a remarkable achievement. It shows that investing in people is just as important as investing in technology. After all, innovation starts with people who feel valued, trusted, and empowered to grow. That’s the kind of culture that creates lasting success.
A remarkable recognition, made even more meaningful by the voices of more than 300,000 employees. Amy Coleman, three consecutive years at the top reflects a strong culture built around trust, growth and opportunity. Glad to stay connected and see this journey continue.
Great workplaces are built on great people practices. Microsoft’s recognition reflects the power of employee growth, meaningful culture, work-life balance, and strong leadership in building a high-performing organization.
Three years running on a survey of 300,000 employees is hard to fake. Curious which of the four factors moved most this year, especially growth, since that one usually slips first when a company scales.
Recognition like this is rarely the result of a single initiative. It reflects years of investment in culture, growth, trust, and creating an environment where people can do their best work. Congratulations to everyone who contributes to making that possible.
Sustaining that level of employee advocacy across a global workforce requires moving past perk-driven retention and genuinely aligning engineering autonomy with business impact. When developer velocity and psychological safety scale together at enterprise levels, culture stops being a corporate talking point and becomes a true competitive moat.
Congrats. That is no small feat, given the crazy workplace climate and uncertainty we're navigating. It also helps that it isn't a "pay-to-play" list and was truly earned. Amy Coleman
Wonder how many of those 300k got laid off?
