Microsoft Surface’s Post

Hi Microsoft Team, My name is miles and I'm currently a senior at BYUI in studying cloud computing but as I've seen technology grow for over 10+ years to now as in adult who is building software for an internship but even doing content creation on the side that I was wondering if their was a way to get a review unit of this device because I think everything in which you announced but even partnered with NVidia is incredible since ARM is the next gen chip that will fuel so many application that are outperforming so many of the competition. Let me know, Miles

wowww it is revolution.Next age is Nuclear energy and Majorana; limitless energy and limitless processing power.

The winning hardware metric is useful local inference per watt under real workloads, not headline performance.

Surface Laptop Ultra with RTX Spark looks like a game-changer for running compact LLMs and local fine-tuning. As an AI builder, having this much local compute power on a laptop significantly speeds up development cycles. Can't wait to test my current AI models on this new hardware architecture!

Running smaller models locally for fast iteration before scaling to cloud GPUs is a pattern I've leaned on more and more this year. Would love to see real benchmarks on memory bandwidth for RAG-style workloads with long context windows.

Local AI compute is a huge win for privacy and speed. Finally feels like the hardware is catching up to what we actually need to build.

Exciting to see Microsoft and NVIDIA bringing more powerful AI capabilities to personal devices. Local AI computing could open up new possibilities for developers, creators, and businesses. Great progress!

Local compute for AI builders.

How I have to decide whether I want to buy the new HP Googlebook or this. 😭
