I’m writing this from the Delta Air Lines Club in Salt Lake City, somewhere in the middle of what can only be described as a conference marathon. So far this stretch has included #Techlearn, #ATDCore4 and #ATDOrgDev, and today Utah ATD. Tomorrow I get to co-host the Association for Talent Development (ATD) #ATDIntensive (which I’ve had the joy of curating as lead with Alexandria Clapp), and on Friday I’ll be at ATD New England. Because that apparently wasn’t enough, I squeezed a Training Magazine Network webinar in there, too, with new author Moe Poirier. You might expect me to be exhausted by now, and I can see why. But I’m actually energized. I’m learning something new in nearly every session, and I’m getting to watch other people learn in real time, which never gets old for someone in our line of work. The hallway conversations, the “wait, tell me more about that” moments, and the people I’ve met and reconnected with along the way have made every leg of this trip worth it. I’ll admit there’s also a lot of caffeine involved. Here's looking at you, Seattle Gummy Company (SGC Pharma Inc.)
