Embrace other cultures, y'all. I'm Amaris Podesto. I'm a senior vice president of creative marketing at Edelman, and we are here at Culture Con in Brooklyn, New York City to. soak up all of the culture, all of the vibes, and hear from the people. Appropriating the culture. And you know when somebody's stealing. Oh, we know. We know. We know. We know. If I' don't see a single person of color, arrogance will get you kicked out of the chat. Make sure that you're giving people. the quality that they deserve. If the brand doesn't put their customers first. Brands exist just to help customers get from point A to point B. And so if the brand is only looking for its financial gain- Mm-hmm ... and they're not marrying that with helping people, then yeah, I don't wanna work with them. Women like me are having a cultural moment. Yes. Women who are now in their 40s, we look good, we've worked hard, we're happy, we have the things that we need in life. Black creativity. We are the flavor. Authenticity every time. When a brand stands out so much themselves that you can't deny their own presence, whether you like their work or, not, that's what makes you, like, stick out in the crowd.
