Three people look at the same coaching hour. They see three different things, and the walls between them are the reason the hour works at all. → The coachee sees their own six-principle profile for the skill they chose, scored before session one and again as they progress. They do not see how they compare to anyone else in the cohort. → The coach sees that same profile before the session starts. So session one opens with "here's what I noticed", not "tell me about yourself". → HR sees the six Core Principles as a heatmap across the cohort, and nothing for a group smaller than five. Never an individual's answers. The temptation is to read that third view as the incomplete one. It is the load-bearing one. Take the wall down and the first view stops being honest, because people do not bring their real problem to an hour that reports upward. Worth remembering when a provider offers individual-level visibility as a feature. They are not offering you more. They are selling you a weaker hour. A test for anyone shortlisting this quarter: ask a provider to describe all three views in three sentences. Not the platform tour. How many of the three can yours describe? Reply with the number. #CoachingProcurement #ICFCoaching #CHRO
