When Catherine's daughter moved her wedding to St Helena Hospice so her mom could be there, it was a reminder of what hospice care is really about: helping families create meaningful moments together, even in the most difficult circumstances. Working with Microsoft partner ForGood.Tech™, the organization implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to connect data across fundraising, finance, and supporter engagement. This resulted in less time being spent on manual administration and better visibility across the organization. #InternationalDogDay is all about celebrating dogs like Zack. Found tied to a tree and abandoned in a park, Zack was fearful of people and other dogs. Today, he's learning tricks, relaxing to music, and discovering the joy of cuddles. 🐾 His transformation is one of thousands at DOA dierenasiel, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where staff and volunteers care for up to 520 animals at a time and find homes for 2,000 every year. Together with partner Axelio, DOA dierenasiel is using Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot solutions to streamline intake, coordinate 100+ daily dog walks, and support veterinary care. The organization is spending less time on administration and more time helping animals heal, build confidence, and find loving homes.
