Indigenous Peoples Day Ceremony

Oct. 12, 2026, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

In collaboration with the Indigenous Relations Office at the University of Nevada, Reno, the Campus Connections Office will be hosting a ceremony in observation of Indigenous Peoples Day at TMCC. The ceremony will open with a prayer and will be followed by the unveiling of the newest addition to the pollinator garden. Attendees will have a chance to hear from the student who designed the sculpture and the ceremony will close with a dance procession.

Please note, this event starts up at the Sculpture Garden at the Dandini Gardens.
