Healthgrades Top 250 staff appreciation event
Mather Hospital’s achievement of being named a “Healthgrades Top 250 Best Hospital” called for a celebration. This award could not have been possible without the dedication and passion of all our Mather’s team members. A staff appreciation event was held in the cafeteria where complimentary hot cocoa and cookies were served throughout the day by hospital leadership. Off-site employees were also surprised with their own team cookie platter to celebrate the accomplishment.
The Healthgrades award puts Mather Hospital in the top five percent of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance across the most common conditions and procedures.
Some factors that determine criteria for being granted this award include:
- Evaluation of clinical performance of nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide
- Evaluation of current inpatient data from the Medicare Provider Analysis and Review
- Consistent delivery of better-than-expected clinical outcomes for patients
