Mather Hospital’s Chemical Dependency Clinic has scheduled a virtual NARCAN training session for employees on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 12 pm.
The trainings will enable participants to recognize, prevent and stop an opioid overdose by administering NARCAN® in the community. NARCAN® is a brand name for naloxone, a medication designed to rapidly reverse opioid overdose. The sessions will also discuss the stigma of chemical dependency.
