On Thursday, October 19, 2023, a beam raising ceremony was held for a key beam being used for the foundation of the new Emergency Department. The new $52 million, 26,000-square-foot facility is expected to be completed in 2025.
Prior to the ceremony, Mather Hospital team members were invited to leave their legacy and sign the beam.
In recognition of the tremendous support to Mather from the Frey Family, the new facility will be named the Frey Family Emergency Department. Pictured signing the beam is Advisory Board member and JTM Foundation Board Secretary Kathryn B. Frey.
