Northwell Health has created “Northwell Celebrates” to recognize and celebrate team members efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic and to look ahead to recovery, healing and growth.
Northwell Celebrates includes a series of events, activities and experiences for team members and their families: “We want to recognize your sacrifices, your contributions, and celebrate the unbreakable unity we’ve found as we look ahead to the exciting future that awaits us. We’ve created this site as a digital hub for all experiences. Explore and check back often—more perks and events will be added through end of year.” SAID WHO?
You can find out about all the activities and offerings on the Northwell Celebrates website. A link to the site can be found on the Mather intranet under the Northwell Health tab or go to ADD URL. The site lists events – such as the recent Side by Side celebration honoring veterans and the Northwell Nurses Choir appearance on America’s Got Talent – and a Chambers Players International streaming Beethoven performance as a thank you to Northwell’s healthcare heroes.
Team members are also offered Northwell Delivers, a program offering six complimentary chef-prepared meals from Freshly, a prepared meal delivery company, delivered directly to your doorstep.
The Northwell Family Playbook offers a collection of activities, recipes, book recommendations, games and more that contribute to healthy living and provide fun experiences for all ages.
Still to come are gratitude pop-up events such as one planned July 13 and 14 at Mather at shift changes.
