Santa and his reindeer spread holiday cheer at Mather!
Santa Claus and his helpful reindeer, Huck, did their annual rounds in the hospital units to spread holiday cheer! Each year Mather’s Deputy CNO, Phil Messina RN, dresses up as Santa and visits each unit, interacting with team members and patients to brighten their day and get into the holiday spirit. Port Jefferson’s Deputy Chief EMS Michael Presta joined the rounds as well, along with his canine companion facility dog, Huck—a three-year-old Labrador/Golden Retriever mix
