Mather Hospital welcomed Lisa Khavkin as the new Vice President of Human Resources effective March 1, 2021. She will succeed Diane Marotta who will retire this year after more than 40 years at Mather.
Lisa was previously Vice President of Human Resources at Huntington Hospital. She joined Huntington in 2013 as the Director of Talent and Organizational Performance. In her seven years at Huntington, she was a key member of the team that facilitated the hospital’s integration into Northwell Health and helped the hospital reach the 96th percentile rank nationally for employee engagement.
Lisa also supports the hospital’s strategic priorities by leading organizational efforts around succession planning, leadership development, talent assessment, and organizational design.
Prior to joining Huntington Hospital, Lisa held a variety of human resources positions in several Fortune 500 companies serving the workforce solutions, electronics and banking sectors. A graduate of the State University at Buffalo, Lisa resides in Babylon with her husband and two teenage children. An active outdoor person, Lisa enjoys skiing, hiking and kayaking.
