UC Regents approve fiscal plans/furloughs: UC Regents approved a fiscal emergency plan that includes employee furloughs and campus cutbacks to close an $813 million state budget shortfall.  Read about the proposal and it's effect on all UC campuses.

Literature Department Chair Appointed New Revelle College Provost:Don E. Wayne, chair of the department of literature, has been appointed as provost of Revelle College. Wayne begins his new duties July 1, succeeding Daniel Wulbert. Wayne has been a member of the UC San Diego faculty since 1975. Read more about the new Revelle Provost.
