Higher education pedagogy in English
University West has an agreement with the PIL unit at the University of Gothenburg where they offer spots to HV employees who only speak English. We have a limited number of spots in PIL's courses each year and they are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The courses for which we have an agreement are:
- Teaching and Learning in Higher Education 1: Basic Course (PIL101)
- Teaching and Learning in Higher Education 2: Subject Field Pedagogy (PIL102)
- Teaching and Learning in Higher Education 3: Applied Analysis (PIL103)
- Supervision in Postgraduate Programmes (PIL201)
The application and admission to courses offered by the PIL Unit are handled through University West. We then inform PIL about the individuals who have been admitted, and instructions for the ongoing processes and course structure are subsequently sent out by PIL.
Application for spring 2027
Applications for the spring courses is open. The application deadline is October 14. Please note that we have a limited number of spots in PIL's courses, and they are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
