In U.S. private equity, women manage $1.6 trillion fewer dollars, hold just 22 percent of investing roles, and only 6 percent of senior roles. Some of the biggest investments in our economy are made in the private market, often determining which businesses can scale and succeed. But for too long, women have been underrepresented in this growing and powerful sector.
That’s why we’re expanding our investments to the full private market by backing two women-led firms, putting more capital directly into the hands of experienced fund managers: Awani Capital and Invidia Capital Management.
