Updates

  • Yesterday was a historic day for pediatric care in Georgia and across the Southeast! We officially celebrated the renaming of Wellstar Golisano Children’s Hospital of Georgia, honoring Tom Golisano’s $50 million gift, the largest philanthropic contribution in the history of both Wellstar and the children’s hospital. As Georgia’s leading pediatric referral center with a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, a Level IV NICU, and an ECMO program, this gift accelerates what our children’s hospital can do next! This includes upgrading cath lab equipment and creating a new Pediatric Cardiac ICU, further expanding specialized care for children across the region. As part of the Golisano Children’s Alliance, a growing national consortium of leading children's hospitals, we are dedicated to improving health outcomes while continuing to deliver compassionate, family-centered care.
