Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma convened 50 national leaders in pediatric trauma for a two-day summit with a single goal: develop concepts with the greatest potential to help severely injured children.
INSIGHT
Three working groups had two days to turn expertise into ideas serious enough to fund. A visual practitioner from Tremendousness was embedded in each group — sketching in real time as ideas emerged, making thinking visible before it had a chance to disappear.
The expertise was in the room. What the groups needed was a way to get it out of their heads and into a shared picture — fast enough to refine, clear enough to present, strong enough to fund.
SOLUTION
Using empathy mapping, storyboarding, and live visual capture, we helped teams dig deeper, ask harder questions, and clarify their vision for the future of pediatric trauma care. By the end of day one, rough instincts had become structured concepts. By day two, those concepts were being presented — and some walked out the door with funding commitments.
The visualizations continue to support grant-writing efforts and shape how innovative solutions in the field get developed and communicated.
