Whenever I go to a networking event, I walk in as a CAT. Meow Just kidding. CAT is a three-part framework that finally made networking feel like something I could actually enjoy—instead of something I had to survive. It’s how I’ve landed invitations, intros, and opportunities, without ever delivering a “pitch.” 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬: C - Curiosity Don’t walk in trying to sell. Walk in wanting to learn. When you’re genuinely curious, people can tell. Your questions get sharper. The conversation gets real. Suddenly, they’re opening up and you’re both actually interested, instead of just circling the same old small talk. Ask stuff like, “What made you choose this path?” and see how much more you get than ten minutes of polite nodding. Bonus side effect of being curious? No anxiety. Curiosity kicks self-consciousness out the door. It’s Win Win. A - Add Offer something useful, expect nothing back. Most people try to get noticed by talking about themselves—flip that. Leave them better than you found them. Maybe you share a contact. Maybe you offer a resource based on something they casually mentioned. Maybe you say, “I know someone who solved that exact thing, want me to connect you?” It’s rare, and people remember it. Generosity that isn’t transactional is magnetic. T - Timing Leave a breadcrumb for next time. Most “let’s stay in touch” promises fade out because there’s nothing to anchor them. So end the conversation with a time cue: “Let’s catch up after your launch, I want the inside scoop.” “Tell me how the team offsite goes when we reconnect.” Now the follow-up feels natural, not forced. And you show you were actually paying attention, which—let’s be honest—most people aren’t. So that’s CAT. Curiosity + Add + Timing. It’s how I network without feeling like a salesperson. Try it at your next event, and let me know if it works for you. Follow Aaina for more such posts! #networking #collaboration #events #branding #strategy #mindset

This may be the only Marketing Strategy you need. Forget cold outreach. Here’s how clients come to you. For years, I thought getting high-paying clients meant endless cold DMs, job board applications, and chasing people who didn’t even know me. But then I flipped the script. I stopped pitching. I started positioning. When you position yourself as the go-to expert, leads come to you—already interested, already convinced, and ready to pay. Become the Problem-Solver, Not the Seller Clients don’t pay for services—they pay for solutions. Instead of posting random tips, I started creating content that: ✔ Identified their pain points (e.g., "Struggling to convert content into sales? Here’s why.") ✔ Gave them a quick win (e.g., “This 1 post format landed my client $10K in 7 days”) ✔ Showed them what they were missing (without giving everything away) 📝 Example Post That Got Me a Client: "Your content gets likes, but no sales? Here’s the ‘Invisible Funnel’ technique that turns followers into paying clients." 💡 Why it worked: The post called out a specific problem, teased a solution, and made them curious to reach out. Question: What is the #1 Thing you help your clients do?

TIPS FROM THE AGENCY We helped a niche health coach nearly double their organic traffic in just 12 months. No backlinks. No fancy PR campaigns. Just smart content updates, on-page cleanup, and trust-building UX fixes. Along the way, we also helped them pick up 20 citations for AI Overviews. Here are the 3 strategies we used to boost their visibility: 📝 Blog Content Cleanup and Growth ✅ Ran a content gap analysis against competitors to find new blog topics worth targeting. ✅ Audited existing blog posts to identify low-traffic and zero-traffic pages, then removed them to free up crawl budget for better content. ✅ Worked with the client through an SEO writing workshop to build skills, and developed a plan for new articles plus improvements to existing content. 🏆 Building Trust with E-E-A-T Signals ✅ Added dedicated author boxes to blog articles showcasing the coach's expertise and personal story. ✅ Revamped the Testimonials page and Contact Me page to build stronger visitor trust. ✅ Improved the contact form to create a smoother, more secure user experience that converts better. 🤖 Laying the Groundwork for AI visibility ✅ We ran an AI visibility audit to see how the brand could appear in Google AI Overviews and Bing Copilot results. ✅ Built a plan to claim and optimize Google Knowledge Panel, improve Google Business Profile, and add short, authentic videos to connect with high-intent searchers. ✅ Created AI-optimized content pages with clear, first-person answers and emotionally resonant language to help these AI systems confidently recommend our brand as a real, trusted expert. The results: 📈 Sessions jumped from 1,196 to 2,341 (95.74% growth) 📈 Engaged sessions grew from 766 to 1,187 (54.96% growth) 🎯 Started ranking in 20 Google AI Overview keywords for niche health topics Ready to see similar results for your site?  Start with a free visibility audit here: https://lnkd.in/gDXQEWfC We'll show you exactly what's holding back your site from getting more traffic and appearing in AI search results.

Think LinkedIn is all about followers? Think again. 10,000 followers? Cool. But followers don’t pay the bills. Conversions do. And here’s the real problem 👇🏻 Most people post blindly. They throw up whatever comes to mind, hoping something sticks. No strategy. No system. No plan to actually monetise. If you want LinkedIn to become a money-making machine, you need a solid framework: ⬆️ Top of the Funnel (TOFU) ➡️ Middle of the Funnel (MOFU) ⬇️ Bottom of the Funnel (BOFU) Here’s what that looks like: ⬆️ Top of the Funnel (TOFU): ATTRACT & HOOK This is where you stop the scroll. Get people curious enough to lean in. - Share provocative insights: "Why 10k followers might be ruining your LinkedIn strategy." - Drop actionable tips: "3 hacks that doubled my LinkedIn leads overnight." - Tell compelling stories: "How I turned 1,000 followers into £5k with this one strategy." Your goal: Grab their attention and build intrigue. ➡️ Middle of the Funnel (MOFU): BUILD TRUST & POSITION YOURSELF They’ve noticed you, now give them a reason to believe in you. - Case studies that convert: "How my client turned 200 followers into £20,000 in revenue." - Educational insights: Share tips or frameworks your audience can actually use. - Proof of work: Screenshots of results, client wins, or even behind-the-scenes moments. This is where you go from “just another LinkedIn post” to “I need to follow this person.” ⬇️ Bottom of the Funnel (BOFU): CONVERT & MONETISE Here’s where the magic happens. Most people miss this part. - Use DM prompts: "DM me 'Ready' if you’re serious about scaling your LinkedIn results." - Offer value-packed calls: Help leads see what’s possible with you. - Create urgency: Limited spots, deadlines, anything that nudges people to act now. Your goal: Turn followers into paying clients. Most people get stuck at TOFU. (And no, it’s not a vegan menu item 🍃) It’s where they post random content, rack up likes, and wonder why their inbox is empty. But LinkedIn isn’t about vanity metrics. It’s about a clear system to attract, build trust, and convert. So, ask yourself: Do you have a funnel? Or are you just throwing spaghetti at the wall? 🍝

I get asked this a little too often: “How did you get your first client?” VERY good question. Consulting is not an easy sell. You’re asking strangers to invest thousands of dollars in an intangible product, not $5 on a shampoo bottle. And I happened to be 24, in a market that barely understood branding beyond logos. So here’s the unglamorous truth. When I was launching my firm, I was simply trying to speak to as many startup founders as possible - not to sell, but to understand how I could add value. My flatmate in Pune had a best friend. She connected me to a founder who had two co-founders. One of them lived in Dubai and had a brother who was starting up with a friend in Scotland - in the whisky industry. One introduction led to another. They liked that I had European exposure and had worked on Estrella Damm. They took a bet. And became my first client. No genius strategy or dumb luck. Just conversations. Curiosity. And payback for being helpful to people in general. Be nice. Be useful. Be consistent. Your network is quite literally your net worth. #networking #founder #business #clients

How To Turn Networking Conversations Into Referrals (7 Simple Steps): 1. Getting “Stuck” After A Great Call Most of us get stuck in this trap. You worked so hard to get this call. You jump on, ask your questions, and it went great! Then you realize you have no idea what to say or do to keep the relationship going. 2. The “Open Door” Strategy I ran into this same problem during my job search. And I created the “Open Door” Strategy as a solution. Once I began implementing it, I always knew exactly what step to take next. That led to referrals and, eventually, job offers. 3. The Overarching Concept At a high level, the goal of the “Open Door” Strategy is to create a plan to keep the door open for the next step. When you set this as an intention, you can proactively plan around it. This gives you multiple options to “open the door” no matter how the conversation goes. 4. Start With A Brainstorm First, start by brainstorming different ways you could use to create a “Door Opener.” Ex: You could ask for a piece of advice, then you could ask if it’s ok to follow up after you take action on it. You could ask about a specific challenge, then ask if it’d be ok to follow up with some ideas around it. 5. Keep Several Options On Hand When you book your next networking conversation, keep you list of “Door Openers” on hand. When it feels natural in the conversation, introduce one of them and see what kind of response you get. If they don’t bite on one, introduce another option from your list when it makes sense. 6. Get A Follow Up Commitment This is the most important part. After you use the “Door Opener,” ask if it’s ok to follow up by X date. When they say “yes,” you’ve essentially added a placeholder in their mind for the next step in the relationship. Now you can confidently follow up knowing you both agreed to it! 7. Repeat At Each Relationship Stage The best part about this strategy is that it works at every stage and touchpoint. Your goal should be to never leave a networking conversation without leveraging it. If you adopt that approach, you’ll always know the next step you need to take and your contact will have the same expectations set on their end!

Meeting deadlines is just the start. To build strong relationships, you need to become partners for your clients for long-term success. I've realized that success is so much more than just checking off tasks. It’s about creating partnerships rooted in trust, understanding, and shared growth. This mindset shapes everything we do, especially when it comes to our clients. With a couple of examples, let me lay down our approach to partnerships that translate into real, impactful outcomes: 🔍 The Challenge: Our client was facing constant delays and dealing with poor candidate matches from previous vendors. Frustrated and running out of options, they turned to us for help. 👥 Our First Step: After our exploratory call, we sent over two candidate profiles. They were a 60% match—better than before, but far from perfect. We knew we needed to go beyond the basics. 🔎 Deep Dive for the Perfect Fit: We didn’t stop there. We scheduled a detailed meeting to truly understand their product, job roles, and long-term vision. This allowed us to tailor our approach and find exactly what they needed. 💡 The Game-Changer: With a deeper understanding of their unique needs, we delivered candidates who were a 95% match. This didn’t just improve the hiring process—it cut their hiring cycle in half. The new hires aligned seamlessly with their goals and vision. 🤝 Ongoing Partnership: Our dedicated account managers continued working closely with the client, providing ongoing support as they scaled their engineering team. The result? A stronger, more efficient engineering department ready to drive the company forward. What’s your approach to nurturing long-term client relationships? Share your insights below!

How I Learned to Turn LinkedIn Connections into Clients When I first jumped on LinkedIn for business, I made the classic rookie mistake. You know what I did? I'd connect with someone and immediately hit them with my sales pitch. ! (Yes, I was once a pitch-slapper😱) Through trial and error, I discovered what actually works, and it's all about building relationships step by step. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗢𝗻𝗲 - 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 - was all about getting on people's radar. Instead of selling, I started sharing genuinely helpful content about common challenges I knew my potential clients faced. More importantly, I engaged with their posts, adding thoughtful comments and insights. Pretty soon, I noticed more profile views and my network started growing organically. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗧𝘄𝗼 - 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 - was the game-changer. I began sharing success stories... not long, boring case studies, but relatable wins from working with clients. I'd wrap up each post with a question to spark discussion. That's when things got interesting! People started reaching out, asking if similar solutions could work for their business. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 - 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - was where it all came together. Whenever someone engaged meaningfully with my content, I'd send them a personal message, mentioning something specific from their profile or their comment on my post. No sales pitch, just starting a genuine conversation. (LinkedIn InMail worked well for connecting with 2nd and 3rd-degree connections.) 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 I started having 2-3 meaningful conversations every week which naturally led to sales calls. Here's why it worked: I wasn't focused on selling - I was building trust one interaction at a time. Now, I know what you might be thinking - "This sounds like it takes forever!" And yes, it does require some patience. But trust me, once you build that momentum, the leads start flowing in consistently. The key is not rushing those initial steps. If you're struggling to turn your LinkedIn connections into actual conversations, give this approach a shot. It completely transformed my approach to LinkedIn, and it might just do the same for you. What do you think? Have you tried any of these strategies on LinkedIn?

How To Connect With Your Ideal Client (Without Pitching, Pushing, or Pestering) Everyone wants “in.” - Founders want investors - Advisers want high-value clients - Jobseekers wants career opportunities. But here’s the truth: The people you’re trying to reach are bombarded with noise. And most outreach fails because it’s rushed, generic, or self-serving. If you want to connect with high-value decision-makers, do this instead: Lead with value: 1. Don’t sell - serve. Share insights, spot inefficiencies, flag risks, connect dots. 2. Study before you speak Understand their goals, their business model, their blind spots. Take more time and tailor everything. 3. Make their world a little better Introduce a key contact. Send a useful article. No ask. 4. Play the long game Follow up with zero agenda. Stay on their radar. Trust builds slowly - then suddenly. Be the person who helps first Not the person who pitches first. The people you want to connect with? They rarely respond to “Here’s something I want to sell you.” But they almost always notice: “Here’s something that might help you.” That’s how relationships start. That’s how business gets done. Good luck.
